Ngl, it's unexpected how the new Ghost in the Shell is very 80's popcorn action (instead of the depressive philosophy that I first saw in Standalone Complex). Still, I'm def showing up for next ep bc it got across the vibes of a dystopia where your brain is susceptible to hacking.
Honestly, the weirdest adjustment was seeing Motoko be more of an impulsive action hero sort. But considering I know her as a character that never got to have a childhood or a face of her own, I kind of figured she just never grew much social or emotional intelligence here.
