In every Junzumi AU of mine there is a re-adaptation of the bonfire scene, because it’s iconic and even after 25 years Digimon anime staff still likes making it pop out here and there. I love episode 21 as a whole and ,of course, I’m voting for it in the best Frontier episode poll, but I don’t intend to hide which my absolute favourite scene from this episode is. Junpei and Izumi stole Takuya’s and Kouji’s spotlight here, like they often deserved to XD!

So, let me imagine them stranded in DW again, but married, blessed, silly like usual, but with the important difference that Jun will definitely get a kiss here, because Izumi has grown very fond of those moments hubby’s wisdom shows up and his cheerful voice goes down, down, down. He’s her personal Buddha, although one who likes affectionately talking to her about his conservatory students and then, -because he just can’t help it-, about their kids of the tempest💕.

To go along with the release of G.I. Joe Classified's Lara Croft figure, there's going to be an official G.I. Joe X Tomb Raider crossover comic, which is coming out in October, 2026, and, apparently, it's going to be in-continuity with Larry Hama's long running A Real American Hero comic.
