I can’t believe I’m writing on my blog again. I recently binge-watched a series, and it honestly gave me so much feelings and a few realizations while on quarantine. It wasn’t the love kind of story, but about someone who chose his career over his relationship. This series made me realized a few things in my life, including my family, my future college self and my busy schedule right now. I could relate to the protagonist of the series so much! I still can’t get over it. In fact, I’m listening the series’ theme song right now. </3

I placed myself in the protagonist’s life. A young boy who was hyped up on his dreams; no time for love or any romantic relationships; goal-oriented and amazed by almost everything in life. He almost had it all--a great family, great school and a best friend--except for a love life. But things changed when he entered college. He fell in love many times and kept it casual, and the best thing was, it didn’t affect his grades at all! Fast forward to when he was in his junior year when he was about to choose between career or love. Obviously, he chose career. Things didn’t turn out the way he wanted after his graduation. He even dropped out for one year but finished college with his best friend. I mean, it’s not the best but It’s definitely #goals!

Around this time, 2 years ago, I attempted to paint the tourist attractions of every country in Southeast Asia 🌏🌇

wow “attempted” because I failed 😂 I only finished 1 country (don’t get me wrong, slow progress is still progress 😌🖌)

Day 1/30: Wake up with determination. Go to bed with satisfaction. 🌞🌚

Update: For today’s segment, #MondayswithKaelJulio, I’ll be releasing a 30-day project about Motivation 🤗✨

Hopefully to finish this within a month 😅 (I currently have 20+ online assessments to do ☹️ some are due this week sooo 🤪)

For the next 30 days (or more), I’ll be sharing some motivational quotes and some personal faves that will hopefully boost your motivation to work (and study, if you’re a student 😉📚)

I am grateful that I can still rise,

Above the surging waves

That overwhelm my life.

I drown in so much words,

Thoughts and feelings

That submerge my head

And I can hardly breathe.

Why, I ask God,

Was I given wisdom,

Talent, and a mission

When I have no more passion?

How and where can I look for

The solution to humanity’s problems,

When I cannot even solve

My own personal conundrums?

Now as I look around

For some inspiration,

I remember to look in my heart

Holy Saturday ☀️

Black Saturday or Holy Saturday would always be the time when we go swimming with the fam, be it on the swimming pool at the Clubhouse or at the beach in Ilocos 🌊🏖 I miss swimming at the beach. I miss Ilocos—my home.
