You get up here via the Nevis Range cablecar. If the views aren't dramatic enough for you, you can watch mountain bikers with nerves of steel throw themselves down the rocky track below.
When I was a child, the Scottish mountains didn't have cablecars or mountain railways. I fondly remember riding up Cairngorm on dangling park benches, with only an unsecured metal bar between us and the heather below.
They still have them up here for the skiers. I'd love to have a go, for old times' sake, but they're closed for the summer.
