Alright so the hot topic of MacCready seems to be his his teeth. Love them? Hate them? Doesn’t really matter, cos it’s canon and they’re here to stay.

But why? Between all your companions, why is Mac the only one afflicted with awful dental hygiene? Well, there’s a bunch of reasons as to why Mac’s teeth are the way they are. Let’s explore this.

Yes, he has the Big Dig but that doesn't count. He should have one after gaining him as a companion, unlocked through affinity.

I imagine it would be a quest tied to Goodneighbor.

Like searching for plumbers or electricians or mechanics through word of mouth or happening upon them or searching diamond city/bunker hill/vault 81/convenant. Having to gather supplies like junk or shipments or tools. Having to complete the mission to clear the warehouses obviously.

Then at the end of the mission the next time you visit (even better if it was over time/gradually improved/more stuff added with each visit) the warehouses are transformed into apartments and water pumps or pop up stands were added to the streets or more cool decorations.

He also mentions when you talk to him after he kills Finn that he would miss him come the next supermutant attack.

So maybe clearing out the supermutants nearby could be a part of the task. Maybe you even have to rally a team to do it, recruiting a certain number from possible recruits like Edward or Kleo or Fahrenheit or neighborhood watch or companions.

Maybe if we are going with the securing the area angle, also clearing the area of the raiders/ferals/dogs/gunners and then it slowly cleaning up/they never end up respawning because the area is then maintained/patrolled like outside Diamond City?
