More Cassian Andor Going Postal AU!

I was feeling inspired by the positive response on the previous post and now I have 4 sketches and an 800 word plot outline in my wip folder. This is for all you Guy In A Situation enjoyers

Cassian has been a child soldier, molded by war and out of sadness and kindness for anything that exists outside the rebellion and Draven's orders. He is a living weapon because he made himself such.

Kay is a living weapon because they made him that way. He still craves violence. He gets bored easily and clearly enjoys harming others... He sees Cassian cry and offers to wipe his own memory to spare him from the rawness of vulnerability.

Kay doesn't care because just like Cassian he has his own methods of suicide, and he obviously would take that route. Seriously does Cassian think he's an idiot?

However, Cassian is never reassured by this. He's highstrung and 10% more abrasive than usual in missions that present this risk. It's clearly something that stresses him greatly.

Eventually, Kay is forced to reckon with the fact that Cassian simply doesn't want to lose him. He's a pain in the ass, because this contradicts nearly all the data sets he has of Cassian, but the man has always been a pain in the ass so it's fine. He can just reassure him by annoying him after missions, or by pressing him against his chassis; which doesn't even make him flinch.
