To those who dont know, it has a cast time of one minute, and makes a 10 foot radius sphere barrier that only those inititially inside it can pass through. In the 2024 version, only 4th level spells or higher can pass theough the spheres barrier, the outside of the barrier is opaque, while the inside is see through. There is no condition for the barrier to go down other than the 8 hour duration ending, its not even concentration.

So this normally situational spell, that'll keep a party safe while they rest for example, is about to just fully clear griffins entire encounter.

Gods, TAZ Royale is so good so far.. its got the balance of goofs and serious stuff that I loved in ethersea and.. well balance.. and I think the pacing is done so much better than both so far (i think balance started too slow and ethersea ended too fast)

Taz Royale first thoughts: beware! you are entering, the spoiler zone

Everyone has characters that seem fun, but it's a LOT less whacky than I expected which I'm excited about. I love me a silly season but coming out of abnimals I am happy to see characters with more depth.

I am curious, do they all only get one spell, or can they learn more? If it's the former, why would you pick lightning lure justin!?/lh

So far, I like Clint's character the most, I think there's a REALLY good arc to be had here. Justin has me the least interested, but I think there's more here, we just didn't get to see it. His competitive nature will probably be interesting in the competition.

Lastly I will close with my tentative season 2 name.
