Like these days feel a lot better but I’m still like… not quite awake, IDK. I’m trying to embrace letting myself explore but I still feel the need to choose something and perfect it.

And I’m still so divided, like I feel like I’m losing my chance to invest in interests aside from art, but I feel like I’m never doing enough with them anyway.

I was trying to explain to my mom why the song jolene was considered a gay song to so many lesbians.

She kept telling me the song wasn’t about love but jealousy and Dolly Parton had a husband.

And she had the best of intentions she was just confused and we talked about it for far too long long before I was just like

It’s the vibes ok? It’s gay to me at least.

Like I know we need evidence for things I’m not asking people to believe stuff blindly, but I don’t know everything

I finally have a song that is almost completely written. I say almost because some of the lyrics have been changing as I get more in depth.

Anyway i’m finding out I have a habit of putting all my lyrics too close together and I need to pull them apart like pizza to let the cheese a.k.a. the instruments breathe…

Like I originally imagined all these songs with instruments, but since I was only focusing on the lyrics, it kinda got muddy

I’m thinking of pulling apart some other songs as well before I get too lost in the lyrics
