Around this time last year we were in DR. 🌴🌊☀️ Never in a million years would I have imagined the situation we’d all be in today. I am so happy we made the trip when we did. This just reminds me that if I wait for a better time to do something it won’t happen. We traveled to see family and friends. Our schedule was hectic with work, but we did it anyway. Amelia met both of her great grandmothers. We took my nephew Jeremy with us. He is 12! It was a trip we will never forget. Although we were on the road more than we would have wanted, we visited Punta Cana, The Capital, Santiago, and Puerto Plata. I can’t wait to go back but I’m so glad we went when we did. Well good morning! 🍒 How u doing? Locked in? Pop quiz: Which day of the week is it? I’ve been working nonstop on my website (link in profile). Those people with graphic designing skills, I so admire you. I got none. Nevertheless, I got it done and am very happy with it. It had me so busy and, in times like these, I need to stay busy. Now that I have a personal platform to share all of my work (and for a seed, my mom’s and my shop) I can focus full time on music and photography. YEY!!! Voice is back, I got 3 songs in the making. We drove the Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire this Fall to enjoy the fall foliage. Posting a video about it tomorrow! ⠀ .⠀ It was absolutely stunning!! And a trip I recommend everyone to take. Guess who’s starting the vlog tomorrow?! ⠀ .⠀ .⠀ I’ve been working on a change of lifestyle. Embracing minimalism and getting back to songwriting. I started to homeschool Amelia and it’s all been busy! ⠀ .⠀ Our home is small yet so peaceful. And love is very strong. I love my world and the people in it. I’m spending more time being grateful than complaining. It’s been a great year. But NOW I get to start sharing and bringing my ideas & music to life! .⠀ I wanted to start a long time ago but knew I wasn’t ready. First, I had to detox. Shut off the noise and listen to my own thoughts. ⠀ .⠀ I had to learn how to keep a healthy balance between work and life. One thing I don’t want is to miss out on the present moment. But it’s all about organizing and staying aware. Taking a step back when necessary and staying away from toxic influences. . .⠀ To start, I’m sharing little adventures and things I learn along the way. I’m also going to share more about my journey to cleanse my body and mind. I plan to be more present here on stories and sing more!! Lunes, mis amores. ⠀ .⠀ .⠀ I was talking to my bff @junique79 this am. We were reflecting about life and how it can feel “down” sometimes. Like this am we were both feeling extremely tired. Where is my bed? Literally complaining that my eye lids felt heavy, laughing at the same time. 😂 . . But it’s a normal thing. Unless you’re someone who is happy and energetic all the time... bless your heart. I’m not like that. I’m feeling grateful and free thanks to the change in lifestyle but lows come and go. .⠀ The one thing that has made it all okay is understanding that it really is part of life. And we are NOT the only ones a little lost sometimes. Everyone goes through challenges. Rich. Poor. Married. Single. With a job. No job. Everything in between. At every age. ⠀ . . Super busy week. Have been trying to “catch up” for three now. 🙃 anyone else?! But took a little “pause” to understand the Montessori method and plan a pre-k curriculum. I’m a mommy first of all. ⠀ ⠀ So, I’m almost done arranging the house for Amelia to have independent access to her learning activities. Our space is so small, it was a stressful challenge. But it was done. ⠀ ⠀ Now on to minimizing even more. I’m addicted. It feels SO good to be free and clear💕. Goal is to complete it ALL today, let’s see how it goes. 🤷🏻‍♀️⠀ ⠀ Then, finally, focus on “You and I” and release my first vlog video.
