the intrinsic problem with trying to assign mcr members to the categories of femme/butch/futch is that these labels shift with people's perceptions of themselves and others and are therefore highly personal. the futch 2003 ray toro and the femme 2008 ray toro can coexist peacefully and both be correct. the other problem is that frank iero doesn't fit into any of these categories because he could not be a woman. he just doesn't have it in him.
