We're an adult system of ~20 who wants to write their thoughts down and meet others along the way.
If you're unsure how to refer to us, just default to "he" or "it." You'll probably get it right. We tend to alternate between using "I" and "we" for ourselves, so don't worry about keeping it consistent either.
I'll have to ask that no hatred regarding other systems be spread here. It doesn't matter how they identify, and it may not make sense to some people, but they're still experiencing what they experience, y'know?

we got glasses a few days ago, and one of us tried getting more used to just wearing them around the house— to get used to the lenses, we’ve never worn glasses before. the captain switched in at some point and got way more disoriented wearing them than whoever did previously.

Primus remembers herself (Rung in source) being chronically ill. She would constantly cough up photonic crystals and would be berth-ridden if it got really bad. Girly’s monthly was in fact every day (bad joke sorry Primus)
Crux and Overload told us once that ‘The Doctor Of Doom’ and Ratchet from their source (TFP) were DID-coded. That, after that one episode, ‘Dr. Doom’ never really went away, but lingered and occasionally took control, like an alter taking front in a system
Also I don’t think any of us could eat human food except for Wreck-Gar for whatever reason and obviously Sarah (Sari) and Violet (SG!Sari), though Sari says Wreck-Gar could only eat human food that was trash. Yikes.
Mach 20 (Blurr) remembers being a motorcycle and made his proxy 🏍️ to fit. Pissed off Pyrite (TFA Prowl) when he first showed up lol.
Blankslate (Makeshift) remembers being some huge fragging centaur mixed with a… whats it called? the mythical lion animal with all the different animal parts. Blankslate used the different/extra parts to shapeshift. Would basically deconstruct and reconstruct liarself. Removed what wasn’t needed and added whatever was needed to disguise liarself as Wheeljack in TFP.
Meg (TFES/TFE Megatron) and I (TFA Swindle) both remember growing beards. Like. Naturally. We’re living metal. Clumps of metal would just naturally form on our faces over time and take the shape of beards.
source memories that actually get specific are kind of few and few between for us, and the vivid ones end up being the gristly, traumatic kind, HOWEVER! some of us have what i’ve dubbed “internal narratives” which are kind of similar!
take sterling (tfp starscream) for example. he’s convinced that he’s in a human vessel (where we got calling the body a vessel, honestly) for an extended stealth-deep cover kind of thing. it took him a few times to be convinced that our partner wasn’t our superior, but he’s getting there! they’re equals!
another would be flux (sari sumdac, tfa megatron blend), who recalls being sealed away into a young human-ish body for her crimes. i presume she formed from a desire to be grown up or “powerful again.” she and trevor (rescue bots blurr) are both kind of optimus haters, sad to say for porter (g1 + gogo optimus)
wait these are just source memories. forget what i said. WAIT I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT STARSTREAM’S (g1 starscream, lord kleptonoz royal royale) DEAL. so she remembers being excommunicated from the decepticons and becoming the leader of gold kingdom, or el delala. she’s part minecraft smp and remembers the most vivid details as a result

its pretty common for alters to get tired or to fall asleep independently from the body, at least for us.
we can lie down and "sleep" for twenty minutes, get up and are completely awake as someone else. other times, an alter (who i won't name) will stay asleep in front while the body is awake and make us very tired for the entire time they're asleep in front.
