In Dark Era, Ango was 22 when he was a double spy for the Mafia but left after the events that occurred in Dark Era. After Ango left the Port Mafia, Tachihara filled in right away. Now we don’t know if he filled in a year after or sooner but Ango is currently 25 and Tachihara is currently 19 and Dark Era happened 4 years ago from the original timeline
Ango: 25 24 23 22
Tachi: 19 18 17 16
So, Tachihara must’ve been 16 (or 17 if a year was skipped) when he joined the Port Mafia

i would love to read a hunting dog's fic from the perspective of a recruit who just works in the same garrison as them and see just how they're perceived in the army with their status quo and all.
like we already know fukuchi has an astoundingly domineering presence so the military already has respect (borderline fear) for him, teruko is known to lower crime rate in her area just by being there so it's not too far fetched to assume that despite her appearance, she's almost equally as intimidating as fukuchi if not more (or less).
what im more keen on knowing is how jouno, tecchou and tachihara are perceived. like do they have the same aura of intimidation surrounding them cuz of their ranks? do recruits and soldiers shrink in their presence too or are they the "less" scary hunting dogs?
tecchou would probably be the scarier one in comparison to jouno and tachihara solely because he's better known as the strongest soldier in the entire fucking army (plus i bet he has the most intimidating resting face ever). jouno would be the more terrorising member since he's infamous for his "unique" interrogation techniques and such + his false friendly demeanor could easily fool anyone so from afar i don't think he'd be that scary. and lastly, tachi would just be the friendly neighbourhood guy who's the most approachable of them all; i say this because in the tecchou tiddy chapter the soldier at the check point didn't hesitate to initiate brief conversation with him or whatever.
im rambling but tl;dr: the hunting dogs from the perspective of a regular recruit/soldier. that's it.

Prior to writing this, I thought the thing on his right wrist/forearm was a bandage wrapped around but now that I think about it it looks like an arm guard/support thingy?? Pls tell me what that thing is
Anyways, the thing he wears around his wrist/forearm let’s say he probably wounded it from either getting it burnt, hurting it in a battle, or self-harm, there's an ugly scar left on it
And the scar makes him insecure
or reminds him of how "weak" he is
Oh another headcanon of him is that he always thinks he's not strong/good enough
Tachihara
So you know how his natural hair color is black before joining the Port Mafia right?
I have a feeling that after his older brother's death, he couldn't stand to look at himself in the mirror with his natural hair color
Whenever he looks at his reflection he would always see his brother in the mirror looking at him and he didn't want to continue to be in his brother's shadow because he's already dealing with his family comparing him to his older brother
As a result, he completely changed his looks up to not look like his brother; he wanted to be unrecognizable

This one you may find disturbing/weird
But the reason she has that abnormal obsession with Fukuchi and acts concerning around him is that he reminds her of a male figure in her life (like a father) that passed away during her childhood
Therefore she acts that way to relive her childhood
or is obsessed with reliving her childhood

Before when his true dark personality was revealed under that eccentric facade, I feel like he wanted to act goofy for sometime
During his childhood, he probably spent most of it focused on rigorous training to become a swordsman
He didn't get any time to be a kid or act goofy because he had to take his training serious

He probably wasn’t a huge bitch before becoming a Hunting Dog
In fact, he was probably a “soft” executive member in his organization
But he probably got betrayed or was used (or he realized thathe has to toughen up to survive)
And that made him suffer and go through pain

Class A was in session as the teacher was giving a lecture about the Laws of Physics—it was extremely boring. In one of the seats in the back of the classroom, sat a student with [h/c] and [e/c]. Their attire is the Date Tech uniform. They had a bored expression displayed on their face by having their chin sitting on the palm of their hand with blank eyes.
When the teacher moved onto Newton’s third law, they stopped paying attention. Watching the teacher turn around to the board, their hand slipped into the bag next to their desk, and discreetly pulled out a snack. What they pulled out is a bag of sour gummies.
Being quiet as possible, they tear the bag open, getting access to the sweet treat inside. Unfortunately, the bag made a rustling sound that gathered the attention of the boy who sits next to them; Futakuchi Kenji, captain of the boy’s volleyball club with a flippant attitude.
The student’s expression can best be described as a deer caught in headlights after seeing Futakuchi catches them. He initial glances at their face, then to their lap where the bag of sour gummies sits, and back at their face again. The boy smirks because he witnessed his seat neighbor sneak food into class without the teacher’s knowledge.
Whispering, Futakuchi taunts, “Oh? [l/n]-san sneaking food into class without the teacher's knowledge? What a surprise to see such a star student become a bad student.”
A 'tch' escapes as they clicked their tongue in annoyance as Futakuchi's taunts started. “Puh-lease." They made sure to pop the 'p' in please. "If anything, you’re the bad student.”
“How cruel of you to portray me as a bad student, [l/n]-san.” A fake frown replaces his smirk. After he said that, they ignored him and went on to eat their sour gummies, not paying any mind to the boy next to them sending glances at the candy.
He continued to get glimpses of them discreetly popping the sour candy into their mouth which made him hungry. It was torture to sit and listen to a lecture about physics but what was more torture is to watch your classmate eat your favorite candy in class right next to you.
He tried to fight the urge of wanting to have a piece of candy to help him survive the next 20 minutes of class, but he felt the teacher was making the lecture unbearable for him to sit through. Futakuchi ended up giving in to his urges as the lecturer got more unbearable to listen through. He taps their shoulder and then slides his hand with the palm up to their lap, implying he wants a piece of candy.
They felt his tap and right away notices his extended arm by their lap, especially next to the bag of sour gummies. “Futakuchi-kun, shouldn’t you eat something more healthy with protein? If you keep eating candy, you’ll never grow any muscle and remain weak.” The remarked just to give him a taste of his own medicine. Take this as payback for the many times he'd provokingly taunt them.
Even if their remark taken him back a bit, he already had a comeback prepared to say. “So this is where you get your sourness from?” That definitely struck a nerve in them.
A vein pulses on their forehead, jeering. "Why you--" "--Ahem, [l/n]-san, Futakuchi-san." Hearing their names being called out by the teacher made them snap their attention back onto the front of the room; all eyes were on them when the teacher calls them out. The teacher's eyes narrow. "What seems to be the problem for you to be disrupting my class?"
The student started to internally panic. They can't snitch on Futakuchi because snitches get stitches. If they snitch, Futakuchi will snitch on them, too, for sneaking candy into class without permission which will get them in trouble but what's even worse is having their candy taken away by the teacher.
"Sorry, sensei. [l/n]-san was complaining about how cold it is and I was trying to offer my jack, but sadly, they keep on rejecting my offer even though they're shivering." Futakuchi was able to quickly come up with a buyable excuse for both of them.
The teacher nodded their head in agreement with Futakuchi'. "I suppose you're right about the classroom being a bit chilly but [l/n]-san, please bring a jacket next time so you won't disrupt my class."
"Y-Yes, sensei." They frantically nodded their head in understanding and the teacher resumed the lesson without any further questions. They let out a breath they didn't know they were holding in and their body relaxes after having it tensed for a bit.
Their shoulder got tapped and they glared at the smug Futakuchi holding out his hand for candy. They muttered. 'I hate you so much' while giving him a handful of sour gummies. He only grins.
