post-finale mood
It hasn't even been a day yet and I'm already tired of people acting like Shiro is a real person who decided to cuck Keith. He's a character with 0 say and who suffered from really bad writing in the final season of the show he was a part of. Honestly, Keith suffered from bad writing too. Blame the writers, not the damn character(s). This isn't aimed at you just fyi I just needed to vent. :/

@ everyone who said Shiro being dead for 4 seasons and losing his bond with the black lion for literally no canon reason was okay and that he wouldn’t be reduced to a background character who’d get a shitty ending even though that’s literally what happened:

Me (a Sheith shipper): Once again Keith swoops in to save Shiro with the fury of a thousand suns. Because that's what they do, they constantly save each other and they love each other and Keith will protect Shiro from any harm. The way Keith cradled Shiro as he helped him up was so soft, and they were bathed in that classic Sheith mood sunset lighting and smiled at each other, it was so beautiful. The use of The Black Paladins score went straight to my heart.
Me (a Shiro stan): This was Shiro's battle. Sendak is his personal opponent and an embodiment of all the fears and doubts that plagued him about becoming a monster of the Empire and his worth as a Paladin and now not only did he lose that, but he wasn't even allowed to see his own fight to the end and finish Sendak himself. The final shot before the cliffhanger has Keith framed in the center while Shiro is slightly cropped out, showing that in the end it wasn't even a Shiro/Keith team moment, it was Keith's.

and sherlock is like ‘i don’t want to do this but you leave me no choice’ and just picks him up and puts him over his shoulder ala terry jeffords and rosa diaz while john is going ‘PUT ME DOWN SHERLOCK’
