Mostly just deep sympathy for the percent of MM3 he spends in "what the fuck" mode. Like, imagine for a second that you have an all-powerful time machine. And you're bopping all over history, all over the world, trying to give imperialism a helping hand. Only when you head to ancient Rome, these six American kids pop up right behind you. And when you go to medieval France, those same six kids drop out of the sky just in time to save King Henry. So you go to 17th century Delaware... and those same six kids pop out of a bush and start whacking Hessians. Forget Delaware; you go to the middle of the Atlantic 200 years later... and somehow five of those kids ARE ON THE SAME BOAT AS YOU. They don't have a time machine. They don't have teleportation. They're just there.

Oh, and then you find out they can't die.

I just know the Delaware River starts in New York state, then runs between NJ and PA before emptying in the Delaware bay between NJ and DE. I’ve been all up and down the river, and have biked past where Washington crossed before.

yes, social media has let trans and queer people spread more knowledge about pronouns and identity, but acting like none of it even existed till the 2010s or even sooner is... concerning.

Six months later, Clements got his wish: Last week, the GOP-led Otero County commission in New Mexico voted to remove Dominion voting machines, get rid of ballot drop boxes, and mandate hand-counting of votes in future elections.

On Monday, Clements’ efforts reaped even greater rewards when the commission—led by Cowboys for Trump founder and Capitol insurrectionist Couy Griffin—refused to certify the results of a statewide primary vote.

Clements, a former district attorney-turned-election conspiracy theory superstar, is evidence that the strategy many in the Republican Party have espoused for months really can work.

“Local action has national impact,” is the mantra of disgraced former national security adviser Michael Flynn, while former Trump adviser Steve Bannon has espoused what he calls “the precinct committee strategy.”

Clements has rubbed shoulders with both Flynn and Bannon at pro-Trump events in the last six months. Critics now worry he has laid the foundations for a nationwide attempt by those pushing Trump’s Big Lie to disrupt the 2022 midterms and the 2024 presidential election.
