The first week of April in Telluride, CO also known as the beginning of "mud season". After I was unable to find lodging near Moab and regretting not bringing my tent along the road trip I chose to turn East to Telluride. Can't explore canyons? Well let's check out a ski town! Little did I know that the ski resort shuts down April 1st and the town basically goes on vacation for a month. Mud season. Sigh. At least the place was still had a lot of beauty to explore despite being nearly empty. Only edit is the @petermckinnon "Dolomite" Lightroom preset. I've neglected my photography hobby the past few weeks because life has been way crazy. In order to alleviate some of the crushing anxiety, today I have been focused on editing the ginormous backlog of shots that I have accumulated since moving to Denver. The other day @petermckinnon released a gorgeous set of Lightroom presets and I was inspired to dive in! This is a before and after of the RiNo art district sign here in the River North hood of Denver from a pub crawl we did on Memorial weekend. Tomorrow I start back at school for the first time in many years in order to get that Bach degree that has been so elusive to me. It's been a whirlwind month in preparation and anxious scramble to complete so many last second details. I've tried to complete this task so many times in life and failed at every turn.
