When on a walk, Rino will randomly Stop and Look. And i will get annoyed because he stands there for what feels like twenty minutes just looking. Looking at what? I don't know. Maybe ghosts.

And when i'm fed up i'll tell him to move his ass. Loud and clear. Which is not twenty minutes after he stopped. More like one minute later.

But here's the thing: i actually taught him that. I demand it infrequently. Because my silly dog cannot do two things at the same time and has stumbled over his feet or walked into poles because he was looking at something else. Yes. Walking straight up into lamp or fence posts. Because there was a bird somewhere.

And because of that i taught (and tell) him to Stop and Look. Like. There is a command for it.

But i just now realized that he stops to look by himself because of that.

Dude. I know i am hungry, i haven't been eating for four hours and all my thoughts are circling around food.

Anyway. I ate something now and Rino went to nap outside.

“What It Means to Be Happy” My father left behind many wonderful photos from my childhood. Of all of them, this is my favorite. I’m sitting on the veranda in a patch of sunlight, and it feels as though I’m being watched over by the dog, the little birds, and even the sun itself. And there’s my father’s love, captured through the camera lens. My father, who was always frugal, bought this Yashica 44 at a pawn shop when I was born, thinking, “I can afford this.”

Because his race went from approximately 700 individual Bernese Small Swiss Hounds to a number so small it was pulled together with the other color variations into the "Small Swiss Hounds" and then went down even further until the "small" was dropped.

Either that or someone has willingly changed the entries in the database which would take so much effort and nonsensery that i deem it unlikely.

My dog knows this. He does not understand it, but he accepted that i am a Weird Creature that needs help because my senses are useless.
