i think its good to come to terms with your "shortfallings" with art and use them to your advantage. cant draw perfect smooth lineart (like me)? make scraggly bumpy interesting lineart. can't seem to get the proportions for things right? make really long legs into a stylization feature (plenty of old animes did this too and it rules). the best thing abt art is that its unique to everybody and you can always practice and teach yourself new techniques and ways to draw, but if it is discouraging you and making you hate your art more than its helping, then maybe rethink your approach to make art fun again
