watching 20 year old tv shows is all fun and games until you realize how far we’ve backslid on certain social issues

like you’ll have an entire special episode on the morality of medical marijuana which I feel like you really don’t get these days cause everyone is just kind of like “¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it’s weed” but then you have an episode about how forcing intersex children into strict gender roles is abusive or well meaning (tho dated) episodes about how trans people deserve basic human rights and respect or like an entire episode about how your personal feelings about abortion shouldn’t determine the care you give as a doctor and you’re just like ahhhhh. Ahhh. Okay.
