tbh a lot of my advice boils down to “hey you know that terrible horrible looming thing you’re doing your best to avoid and distract and escape as much as possible but no matter what you do it just keeps looming and looming and ruining your life”
Basically this will just be me screaming as I'm literally just sitting in my bed crying right now. I stayed up until the moment the finale came out at 3am, ready to go, and for being limited to roughly a 90 minute episode, they got me good. They got me so good. Just all the feels. one random night dean, who can't sleep, and castiel, who doesn't need to sleep, are sitting together on the roof of the bunker and dean is suddenly pretty interested on which stars of the ones he can see were put there by castiel and castiel doesn't ask why he wants to know, simply enjoying the moment he is sharing with dean and his curiosity about his life as an angel, and dean doesn't explain the reason why he wants to know, because he can't look at cas' impossibly blue and unbelievably old eyes and just say " to look at you when you are away" (he actually confesses this particular secret a couple years into their relationship, while they are watching the stars far away from that roof, which gets him an armful of a really emotional cas and a kiss)
idk if I've told this story on here before but one time I was sitting at my desk at work and a random dog I'd never seen before strolled into my office and curled up at my feet. and I was like oh you are adorable but what the fuck?
then a woman knocked on the door and said "oh I'm so sorry he's a therapy dog he's trained to seek out people in severe distress"
and I was like right okay, just getting my whole life drive-by roasted by a dog then
