“Thank you but     where are my gifts?”

"Hello!”

Ten nodded his head in return as his eyes still looked down on the vegetables in front of him. After the cooking show he and the NCT members joined, Ten gained lot of confidence in cooking. And for the first time he wanted to try making a special Thai dish for his members. He knew how Taeyong always worried and wanted to look after him since he could be a big trouble maker at times. “Hey! I got this. Don’t worry about me and just go play with the others. You’re making me nervous by looking at everything I do, hyung.”

“I am being honest.” The male quietly spoke before he turned his head away, avoiding the olders’ eye contact. “I wasn’t the one who stole the chocolate!” His voice trembled as he spoke, realized the biggest mistake he just did by being too obvious with his tone and body language. A loud, childish whine left his lips, pretty much knew that he was screwed. “Fine, I ate it. But I promise I’ll get you a new one right now!”

“Am I too fast for you?” He questioned her with a playful undertone, before busted out laughing. “How about I slow my game down a bit so you can catch up?”

“And why can’t we?” The younger boy asked with a playful undertone, following the rules had never been Ten’s favorite after all the years no matter how much he tried to keep his feet away from stepping over the line. Besides, what they were going to do wasn’t a big crime anyway, just wanted to sneak out with his friend to have fun at the game center near by. “Come on, don’t be a chicken now!” He laughed while he carefully opened the door, just needed to get out of this room and they will be free as birds, at least for a couple of hours until his manager would find out. “Let’s go, Skylar hyung!“

“Teddy bear?” He raises an eyebrow at the girl while questioned her. Obviously he knew the meaning behind the word but he loved to play dumb. “Teddy bears are cute just like me, right?”

Ten frowned as the female cried out in pain. If he remembered right, he only put a couple of Thai chili’s his mother sent with him back in the food. This was the first time he used them in his cooking after he arrived back to South Korea. Her reaction got him nervous, quickly turned to the refrigerator and took out the milk, poured it in the glass and gave it to her. “Here, take a sip. Do you want something sweet too? Trust me, eating sweets always help.”

The familiar voice from the member who were sitting next to him caught his attention. Ten paused the game he had been addicted to lately before he put the phone down on the couch. Without saying a word, the younger boy ran off to the bedroom before he came out with a couple of vitamins and healthy drinks in mini, traveling packages. “Hyung, take them! They’ll give you lot of energy and also nurture your body. They’re the best, trust me!”
