Hey guys! I'm Jackie, a guy with a jar of Strawberry Jam for a head! Former ask blog, but now just a regular guy.

Real talk, you can call me Jackie or Jam, whichever you prefer, I'm a bisexual Mexican American male, born and living New York, and someone beginning to have faith in the pagan goddess La Santa Muerta.

As for interests, I'm currently a big Omori fan, also been getting into Devil May Cry, a HUGE fan of Hotline Miami, I love System Of a Down, and I've been slowly getting into Slipknot.

I'm a writer (though I'm not too good, and I'm kind of infrequent with it), and I do twitch streams occasionally :P

Though I'm not one for politics, I consider myself left-wing.

So Dave is a bit underweight and I’m trying to get him to gain more. I think it’s a combination of lean food (raw, no grains no veggies), his IBD, and maybe bc he feels rushed when eating (Kepler hovering over him, me hovering over Kepler to make sure he doesn’t eat Dave’s food).

All this to say I decided I’ll give him a bit extra in the evenings so he can eat at night while Kepler is locked in the cat room.

I have done this ONCE and already he’s learned the schedule. Ate his usual dinner, beelined to his second bowl and is waiting oh so patiently.

The worst part about having mental health issues is that you’re seemingly required to have a breakdown in order for people to understand how hard you were trying to hold yourself together.

And you find workarounds and systems to keep it together and it works, so for a while you almost live a normal life.

And then some fuckwit takes the possibility of workaround away, forces you to do more because “you’re fine now” and basically pushes you into breakdown again because stability in mental health does not please the neurotypicals or forces that be.
