Bc so many ppl focus on the idea of telling A Trusted Adult, but even a well-meaning individual can fuck up and let abuse fall through the cracks or not know what to do

Whereas if a child tells LOADS of adults AND other kids, there's far less opportunity for an abuser to do damage control

Consistently telling their story and spreading it around disempowers the abuser to control and coerce the flow of information, or to utilise gaps and weaknesses in systems of reporting or welfare to isolate the child

Smoking is a vice. Vices can be managed, cut back and replaced.

If anyone tells you go cold turkey on most drugs in a high stress period of your life if they are not causing insane self harm or harm to others, they are like a puritan and a cop who is going to inadvertently hospitalize you or give you a stress attack. Quitting cigarettes cold turkey while braving exterior stress can make your health worse should you relapse.

Consider counting cigarette intake down before quitting entirely. So you don't have intense panic attacks.

You often need to be stable to quit. It is okay when you aren't.

on the way home, I encounter someone eating raspberries. I ask and they tell me that they grow their own, they got some seeds from the shop back in The Raspberry Days and kept them. 4: hello! i live in russia with some kind of disorder (i tend not to ask my doc to not scare myself, just silently and happily eating my meds...which somehow tend to be for schizophrenic folks? haha). and because my diagnosis is very light, i have the strength to support all my neurodivergent schizo and affective friends out there. we're all get through and live a happy life eventually... and eat delicious food! cheers to you, chef!
