And honestly? There’s no reason why an adult trans woman should be chatting up a trans guy minor who just started transitioning, like they’re besties. That’s not safe. That’s not normal. That’s grooming behavior

Oh, right a woman who tried to transition, realized it wasn’t for her, and sees a younger trans guy asking the same questions she once asked, and all of a sudden she’s the groomer. Not the adult trans women in Discord servers asking teenagers how far along they are, if their voice dropped yet, if they’re ‘cutting it or keeping it.’ No, no, not them. That’s just community care, right?

It’s wild how fast people will jump to demonize a woman for not wanting a kid to make the same mistakes she did… while turning a blind eye to grown-ass males in lipstick collecting transition timelines like Pokémon cards.

And the other reason they don’t want people to talk about this? Is because the whole ‘death before detransition’ thing is built on fear. when the narrative is, ‘If you don’t do X, Y, and Z, you’ll never be happy, you’ll kill yourself, you have to do it right now, and post proof’ you’re not giving people space to think. You’re herding them. And the second someone breaks from that script, suddenly they’re a threat. A liar. A danger. Because they make the rest of the group realize: maybe there’s more than one path

You’re not trapped in your body. You’re trapped in how the world looks at it. How it talks over it. Shapes it. Categorizes it without asking you first. And I think a lot of people trans men, gender non-conforming women we’ve all felt that. That ache and that pressure. That pull to escape not ourselves, but how we’re read and don’t let anyone sell you the lie that your body is the enemy. It’s not. It’s just the stage the war is fought on. And you you’re not broken. You don’t have to change to be real. You don’t owe progress photos. You don’t owe scars. You don’t owe anyone proof.

And if something doesn’t feel right, if there’s that tiny voice in your head, that whisper you think is just doubt, please listen to it. Don’t shove it down just because someone told you doubt means you're transphobic, or 'not ready to commit.' That voice? That’s your gut. That’s your survival instinct and if you ignore it long enough, it doesn’t disappear it festers. It grows teeth and it turns into regret.

And regret is a lonely place. Especially when the people who once cheered you on start pretending you never existed the second you stop following the script
