New work for ProPublica! I got the chance to illustrate something for the launch of their Investigative Editor Training Program. Big thank you to David for the fun assignment!

New work for Scientific American! I had a lot of fun creating this illustration for an article on the exciting possibilities of recent space milestones after a tough year. Big thank you to CD Michael for a super fun assignment (dinos and space!).

Series of illustrations for Inman’s 2021 Year in Review

An updated take on my piece from a few years ago inspired by gut flora and fauna

My name is Meredith Lynne and I’m an illustrator, pattern designer, and–despite all odds–somewhat successful plant parent. Formerly based in NYC, I moved back to my hometown of Detroit not too long ago. When not drawing, I can usually be found trying to perfect homemade Hot Pockets or attempting to stop her two cats from bullying her pup. Her work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, 3x3 Magazine, and Creative Quarterly. I’m currently available for freelance.

Illustration for “Potatoes & Molasses”, a fanzine inspired by Over the Garden Wall organized by the fabulous Molly Magnell. My contribution was inspired by the tea heirs in “Mad Love”–Magueritte Grey and Quincy Endicott.
