Amnesia AU
Instead of one or the other having amnesia, they BOTH do. So hereâs a thing:
Erica and Talia are broke as fudge so they decide to hit up some attic sale down the street because it sounded like a good idea. So they go and thereâs some stuff strewn out on the driveway, but the old lady sees them looking at some crazy old relics and invites them inside to show them her collection. Talia and Erica are like, sure, we ainât got nothinâ better to do and so they go into the actual attic.
The lady hands them an old relic and theyâre liked... um, what is this? And as Erica passes the orb looking thing to Talia, the moment both of their hands touch it, a bright light emanates from the orb and they pass out.
When they come to, itâs night, and theyâre in twin beds in a strange room. The walls have wood paneling and thereâs a picture of a deer in the woods and the covers on the beds are quilts and itâs a very rustic old people feel. The problem is... both of them canât seem to remember how they got there or who they are.
The old lady comes in with a tray of food for them, smiling. âOh youâre awake!â she creaks in her creaky voice.
They both ask who they are and the old lady gives them completely made up names. Theyâre really off, too, like Talia is Sylvia and Erica is Virginia. Both of them think their parents gave them horrible names.Â
âI found you two wandering out in the preserve, frozen and cold from the raid. Your poor dears. Huddled together for warmth. I brought you here and fixed you right up. Donât you remember?â and she said it like... she knew they couldnât remember.
But they just nodded and were like, âyeah... we remember....â
So the lady leaves and Erica and Talia are left to converse among themselves. Erica goes to sit on Taliaâs bed because she doesnât want to be left alone and sheâs like, âWhy would we even be together like that? What were we doing out in the woods?â
And Taliaâs like, âMaybe we were running away?â
âYeah, but from what?â
âI donât know... from something. We were huddled together so we must have known each other very well.â
âYeah...â and this time Erica looked at Talia for a long time and then tilted her head. âWhat if we were together together?â
Talia made a face and shook her head. âI donât think so.â
Erica snapped. âDarn. I wouldnât have minded, you know. You look like you would be fun.â
âWhatâs that supposed to mean!â
âItâs a compliment!â
And anyway, they end up talking and becoming friends all over again, but something is off about the ladyâs food and they start to feel droopy...
And wake up on the floor of what looks like a basement. Taliaâs all tied up to a bed and Erica is on the floor with a big gash on the side of her head. The old lady is standing over Talia with a scalpel and trying to saw into the side of Talias jaw and pull off her face because sheâs creepy as fudge but the problem was, Talia kept healing every time the lady tried so she was stuck in a perpetual loop of getting her face cut open. Erica pulled herself up to standing, but it seemed her ankle was broken... kind of. Every step seemed to heal it more until she was walking and then running and then she launched herself into the old lady and slammed her against a wall. She felt her bones snap because she was old and brittle. Then she helped Talia out of the restraints. But TAlia is all, âThereâs another. Thereâs no way she can move us by herself.â
And thatâs when a big buff guy with a facial deformity hunkered down the stairs. âMommy?â he was too old to be calling her mommy. Probably forty or so. Erica asks Talia, âHey, Sylvia, do you think we could take him if we go together?â And Talia is like, âI donât know Virginia, but we have to try.â
So they hide behind the table until the big oaf comes blundering toward them. He sees his mother and starts to cry big crocodile tears and tries to shake her awake but he ends up snapping her neck in the process and her head lolls to the side like a broken rag doll.Thatâs when they both launch themselves at him.Â
They take him out by slamming his head into the wall and knocking him out. Then they try to find their way out. They end up finding their belongings and their cell phones and their phones end up piecing together some of their lives. They find out their real names. Call the police, but then try to find a way to get their memories back. They find some signs saying âattic saleâ in the front room and decide to go and check out the attic. Thereâs a pretty orb in the middle of the room and Erica picks it up...
As it turns out, their memories were trapped inside. In fact, several peopleâs memories were trapped in there, and bits and pieces of their lives melted together with Talia and Ericas and ever since they havenât been the same, having memories that couldnât possibly belong to them.

Mobsters AU
First of all, Erica in a pinstripe suit and a fedora. *_*
Anyway, Ericaâs in the mob. One of their best best operatives. She goes in for the kill, gets it done quickly and cleanly and gets out of there. Her target this time: someone who witnessed a mob-related murder. One of the business who paid them dues to keep them âsafeâ but the murder was too intense and the catch was that he was also dating a cop and therefore subject to snitch so Erica had to take him out.
She does best with knives because bullets leave striation marks and can be tracked back to her too easily, even with black market weapons. She goes in, uses a brand name knife, and goes out. When she happens upon her target, though, she falters for the first time in her life because he isnât some weasel-looking gross turd. He looks good and heâs strong and heâs formidable and she thinks maybe the Hale Mob wants him taken care of because he looks so strong.Â
Instead of taking him out, though, she goes back to the mob boss, Peter and pleads her case to him. Have Alistair MacCrae join the mob.
Peter wonât allow it. Alistair is too gentle. Too soft. He would ruin the organization as soon as he joined.
Erica still begged to differ and she breaks the code to go and explain to Alistair the situation. Alistair doesnât want to die, so he agrees to join the mob so that people donât kill him.
Thus he begins to lead a double life, having to lie to his boyfriend about money laundering and stuff. The mob ends up hiding a bunch of money in Alistairâs bookshop under the floorboards because he had a good reputation and rival families wouldnât dare guess that the goods would be hiding there.
So Erica, as a conduit for the mob on Alistairâs end, winds up being the one who gets him better acquainted with the crew: Derek, the sharpshooter, Isaac the silvertongue, Boyd, the braun. All the cool kids. But also she finds that Alistair is a good listener and he makes wonderful tea and his kind words and flair for pacifism starts to rub off on Erica and she begins to second-guess her entire life in the mob.
In the end, she ends up convincing Isaac, Boyd, and Derek to appease their better selves and turn Peter in. With Alistairâs help (and Jordanâs) they stage a capture where the Jordan and the Sheriff show up to arrest Peter and Derek, Isaac, Boyd and Erica all go into the witness protection program.
And then Erica get a job at a bookstore and meets Rory so thatâs cool.
Rose - from Rory
Bookshop AU
So. This is actually kind of similar to their first meeting at the library, only this is an Alternate Universe and I get to do what I want. Erica would be working at a bookstore and sheâd be similar to her post-werewolf self and Rory would be the new customer checking out the local book scene.
When Erica approaches her, Rory is browsing through the bestsellers, reading the book jackets and deciding whether or not the books are worth the read. Erica has been scanning books and zoning a nearby section (can you tell I used to work at B&N. Zoning, man) and stopped because sheâs required to help people. They donât normally get young people in bookstores. Itâs usually old people getting the lastest James Patterson something or Danielle Steel. So sheâs excited and, like anyone in customer service, asks if thereâs anything Rory needs help with.
Being shy, Rory dismisses Erica, saying sheâs fine and Erica shrugs and goes back to zoning.
Except a few minutes later, Erica hears, âExcuse me. Iâm sorry. Iâm trying to find some good rainy day reads. Do you have any suggestions?â
And bam, Ericaâs hooked. After determining what kinds of books Rory is into, she takes her around the store and helps her out, recommending a few books. But the girl left an impression on her because she seemed genuinely interested in everything Erica dished out. And she was cute so...
Over the course of a month or so, Rory comes back into the store for more recommendations from Erica until Erica runs out of stuff and has to start telling her books she wants to read but doesnât have the time. Rory comes back after reading them and tries to share her thoughts but Erica gets yelled at by her boss. By this time, her co-workers have noticed Erica repeatedly spending time with Rory every time she came into the shop.
So Erica takes the plunge and asks if Rory would be willing to come back after Erica was off work and they could talk books, then. Rory agrees and returns after Ericaâs shift and they sit in the cafe and talk... and talk and talk and talk until the sky grows dark and they decide itâs probably a good idea to go home, but not before exchanging numbers and getting the opportunity to text.
Rory offers to let Erica borrow the books she wants to read, and Erica does. She live-texts Rory her reactions and somehow reading is more fun when you have someone to read with. Rory admits to being shy most of the time and a homebody, so Erica decides they should hang out on her next day off somewhere outside of the bookstore.
Naturally, they wind up at the mall, but both of them are pretty broke and donât buy much of anything, but they try on different outfits and take selfies in the dressing room mirrors.
As they sit outside sitting some smoothies from Orange Julius and wait for their ride they slowly congregate closer and closer on the bench until Erica wordlessly wraps her pinky with Roryâs and when Rory doesnât pull away, she holds her hand... and wouldnât you know it, right at that exact moment, Roryâs ride shows up so they pull apart and say their goodbyes.
It takes them a while to text again because neither of them know what to say. Erica doesnât see Rory at the store for some time and wonders if she did the wrong thing and accidentally ruined their friendship. Erica starts to fret and becomes distracted at work until one day, just as sheâs getting off work, she sees Rory in the parking lot, heading toward the store. Erica waves her down and they lean against the trunk of Ericaâs car to talk. As it turns out, Rory got into a fight with her mother and her mother took her phone from her saying something about screen time.
Itâs at this point that Erica learns about Roryâs homelife and how it is not ideal and why Rory likes to escape into books so often. Erica offers to have Rory stay with her. Sheâs rooming with her friend Isaac at the moment (Who is gay with Scott in this shut up) but heâs always at his boyfriendâs place so he wonât mind. Rory obliges, a little scared about what her mother would say, but since sheâs working the night shift at the hospital, she doesnât need to know.
At Ericaâs apartment, they put on some movies and make a light dinner and have a quiet night in. Once again, they find themselves moving closer and closer on the couch until Erica asks Rory if she could hold her hand again.
âI donât mind, but Iâd like to know why... if thatâs okay.â
Erica admits to liking her and that the time they spent apart made her realize just how much. But she understands if Rory just wants to be friends and then hopes they can put this behind them if itâs awkward.
But Rory says itâs not awkward and is brave and blushes and takes Ericaâs hand. They donât kiss until the credits, but itâs not awkward at all. Both girls were thinking about it at the same and the first one is short but the second one lingers a little until both girls are facing each other and giggling and talking about how long they wanted to do that.
With the movies forgotten, the two girls spend the rest of the evening talking about books and life like nothing happened, except now they attach themselves to each other until they run out of topics and Erica puts in another movie. Rory falls asleep on Ericaâs chest with Erica tangling her hands in Roryâs hair. Isaac comes home late and finds them like that, gives Erica a thumbs up and goes to his room.
The story ends with a big confrontation between Erica and Roryâs mom wherein Erica steals Rory away on her 18th birthday and brings her to live with her and Isaac until she can get back on her feet again. But without the weight of her mother on her shoulders, Rory smiles more and finds a home and friendship with Isaac and Scott and companionship with Erica and they live happily ever after.

This is cheating because I wrote a Lydia/Erica Boarding School AU once here. I could see it playing out the same way only Lydia is Stiles. Anyway.
It would be easier for them to meet in a boarding school that takes both genders. They would also be human and therefore Erica would be her old, bookish self, not as confident, bloated, blotchy and feeling like she canât do anything because she was often in the infirmary. Thatâs where theyâd meet, actually. Erica would be recovering from an episode and Stiles will have been admitted because he did something reckless with Scott and dislocated his shoulder. Theyâd get to talking and Erica would probably get her trademark crush on him. It would remain unrequited for a long time because she wouldnât think sheâs deserving of it and besides, he keeps talking about a girl heâs had his eye on for years. They would remain friends, though, and pass notes in classes. She would help him study and be patient with him when he got off topic during study sessions. Scott wouldnât be much company when Stiles wanted to gossip, so Erica would fill that role. Heâd know how to take care of her whenever she had a seizure and in return, sheâd learn what to do when he had a panic attack (which would happen often during finals week).
Overall I think theyâd have a solid friendship and he would help Erica come out of her shell and become confident in an entirely non-supernatural way. Also: kickass super cute boarding school uniforms.

call-me-stiles:
Stiles rolled his eyes at his friend. âWhatever. If FBI agent doesnât pan out for me I know what other alternative I have. Maybe Iâll set up right outside of Beacon Hills and give advice. Lydia can tell fortunes. Itâll be perfect.â He was only teasing though the bit about Lydia telling the future was probably a little too close to the actual truth. âSee? Itâs great. I was forced into half of the connections I have now because of the ones I chose but itâs close enough to work.â Stiles sighed and then shrugged. âWhich is why I try not to be. Iâm oddly cheerful for a guy who just witnessed another mother die. Yet, I have to keep going.â Stiles nodded his head. âI should. I know she is trying to âgive me a breakâ from her,â he told Erica, using his fingers as quotation marks around give me a break. âWhich is ridiculous. So, yeah, Iâll get back to her. If you ever need anything, the master will be waiting.â He shot her another wink and then grinned playfully.
âAh like Lucy from Peanuts, only I hope youâll charge a little more than a nickel for your advice,â Erica teased. She thought it odd that out of all people, Lydia would want a break from Stiles. If anything, she thought Stiles was Lydiaâs best chance at pulling through the heartbreak. âWell, regardless of what anyone else thinks, Iâm very thankful for your brand of cheerfulness. It makes my day.â She winked back at him and stood up, stretching. âIâm calling you later to get high, dude,â she warned him, pointing a finger at him as she reluctantly got back to her duties before Alistair noticed she was slacking off. âAnd Iâm getting supplies from the food pantry. You canât escape me.â
truemcalls:
Scott: My screen is not cracked. You know I would text you. I just forget I even own phone sometimes.
Erica: I get you, itâs nbd
Erica: Iâve been pretty busy anyway trying to keep Derek alive
call-me-stiles:
âI worry about all my friends. Even those not in my pack.â Stiles winked at her. There was a time when she got under his skin and irritated him but that had changed, obviously. She was his friend - one of his best friends - and nothing was going to change that. âI think the family we make is just as important as the family we were born in. Sometimes more important. We choose them and they choose us. I love my dad. I got lucky. Not everyone is lucky enough to have parents that support them no matter what. Itâs why our friends - our chosen family - is so important.â He knew he sounded like some sort of greeting card. Stiles winced a little. âApparently Iâm some sort of advice giver suddenly. Fuck, what has all of this done to me. I need to pull a prank or scare the shit out of someone. Then again, Iâd probably get shot so I should maybe steer clear of the last one.â He booped her nose and then shrugged. âItâs not easy but Iâm dealing. Iâm trying to be Lydiaâs rock. Iâm trying not to be all gloom and doom.â
âStiles, youâre like some kind of guru,â Erica teased, but there was a rush of affection in her voice. âI like the connections Iâve made in life much more than the ones I was forced into. Choosing my family makes it feel more special so youâre absolutely right.â She wiggled her nose when he booped it and then rubbed it off like he gave her cooties. âI donât like when youâre all gloom and doom. Iâm sure Lydia doesnât, either. Speaking of, should you be getting back to her, soon? If sheâs having such a tough time, maybe itâs not a good idea to leave her alone for very long and I think your brand of cheering up is better than mine. Iâm not the cheering up, type.â She tried, though, but sometimes it fell flat.
jacksonwhittey:
âPff no I didnât!â Jackson couldnât get rid of his cheeky grin as he was talking a load of lies but he nodded, Erica was being serious about it and he could understand. They both felt remorse in that kiss and it probably was best to more on now. âOkay, no more fighting.â He repeated. It made him chuckle when he said lastly they were stronger together, her enthusiasm however startled him a little which made him jagger. âYeah, we are.â He knew his kanima side wouldnât like working alongside other but right now he didnât care, he was doing good for himself. It was healthy to interact with other instead of being on your own. âYou nearly sounded like Scott by the way.â He teased, oh he wouldnât let that slide.
âNooo uuggggh, why did you say that!â Erica whined, swaying on the spot in her humiliation. âIâm not Scott. Iâm beautiful for one, and for another... Iâm beautiful.â That was clearly her main argument point. âIâm glad weâve got this all cleared up, Jackson,â she said, patting him on the back with a lot of her strength just to piss him off. âYou mind giving me a lift home? I still donât have a car and my life is terrible.â

scott: not that i donât want to say hi to you but it was a butt text
Erica: I hope your screen isnât cracked. I guess youâve been keeping pretty busy then, huh? For your butt to get so bored and text me.
call-me-stiles:
Stiles cocked his head to the side. âHer stubbornness is a pain in the ass but you are right. It wouldnât be the same. And I think that stubbornness is what attracted to me in the first place.â Stiles let out a laugh and rubbed the back of his neck. âSometimes I think Derek is a lot like Lydia. Except Lydia is a more outwardly confident. Itâs fake but it fools a lot of people.â The boy smiled softly at her. âYou are right though. I hope itâs special for us and that she would pick me over others.â With a nod of his head, he agreed. âFood Network desserts it is. We can pretend we know. I have an idea so maybe between the two of us we will figure it out.â The boy rocked on his heels as he thought about everything they had all recently been through. âHow are you doingâŚwith everything, I mean.â
âYeah, I can see the similarities. Thereâs a lot of glaring differences, but when you look closely, itâs different.â She was actually getting kind of excited to start baking with Stiles. She hadnât ever pegged him as a chef or a pastry chef, so she was eager to find out what he knew. She was still learning, herself, but maybe she could pick up a few things and bake on her own for Derek. âIâm okay, donât worry about me,â Erica said with a laugh. âI try to avoid all this stuff like the plague. Itâs worked for me so far but a couple things get through the cracks. I just keep going forward. Itâs easier when I donât have a large family. I have a small one, but itâs very special to me.â Erica liked the feeling of a small, tightly knit pack, and that was why she loved living in the Hale house with Peter and Derek. âSo no worrying about me. Youâve got enough on your plate. I just wanted to make sure you were okay. You looked so lost in thought.â

Erica: You didnât butt text. that was just an excuse to say hello wasnât it ;)

Melissa came back in with a box of chocolates. âI didnât have cookies, but I had these.â She settled next to Erica. âOf course itâs okay, sweetie. I could do with a rest. Iâve been on the phone with my family all morning, telling them that I wouldnât be moving back home just because of one little kidnapping.â Sheâd forgotten that they knew about one other kidnapping and one of the times she was held hostage, so it hadnât made a great argument, but she wasnât leaving Beacon Hills. It was home.Â
Erica smiled at first but then it fell a little when she saw the chocolate. âThatâs okay. Iâm watching my figure,â she outright lied. She couldnât have chocolate before she was turned and it still worried her to eat it, especially when Pestilence was still around. âUgh, I hate talking on the phone. Texting is so much better. But still, your family loves you. You canât be one hundred percent mad at them, right?â She flipped around on the DVD menu and put subtitles on just in case they needed to keep the sound down or all the actors mumbled which they were wont to do. âTwilight is okay, right?â
âI love you.â

Text to Erica
Derek: I don't think they have dicks.
Erica: Well no, because I'll have punched them off.
@itsericareyesâ
Sheâd expected to have more visitors than usual, so Erica turning up hadnât exactly surprised her. âI might have some cookies in the cupboard. Iâm not actually too sure right now.â She hadnât caught up on everything she needed to be on top of since getting back. Bills had been first, and with the food shortage, she hadnât bothered with a complete grocery shop. âIâll go check, and you can set up a movie.â
Erica grinned happily and immediately pulled out her old and worn copy of the Twilight DVD, popping it in and sitting back on the couch. âItâs alright if I keep you company though right?â She asked, just to be sure. âItâs youâre busy, I understand, but I know when I came back, all I wanted was a few days to clear my mind and not thing about responsibilities.â
