Driving wasn’t something that Lydia was too fond of now that the power was out in Beacon Hills. The roads were more dangerous than usual but walking wasn’t all that safe either. Lydia had to pick between the two and ultimately driving always won. She figured she wasn’t a terrible driver and could navigate her way through the streets. Lydia still needed to get around town, after all. And her friends did too- which was why she was outside Scott’s house, honking the horn to let him know she was here. “Hey.” Lydia said with a smile once he got inside the car. “So Allison and I were communicating between the Station and the hospital all night last night.” Lydia explained. “The hospital needs the most help. Stiles’ dad said he could hold down the fort for the time being at the station which is why we’re going to be volunteers at the hospital tonight. I hope you brought coffee.” Lydia joked. She was exhausted from running around the last few days but she needed to help and she knew Scott did too. At least this would be something they could do that would make them feel useful, and wouldn’t require them being in danger.
