anyways, i noticed that when mobius is playing lokis “greatest hits”, specifically his invasion of new york, loki seems very uhhhhh how do i word this.. not really proud.. not entirely guilty but he reacts like he’s being shown a part of him that he is deeply ashamed of. he doenst really look at the projection often and he becomes very defensive, saying things like “i don’t have to play this game” while looking at the floor and reminding mobius (and maybe himself..) that he is a god

this behavior kind of indicates to me that he wants to be disconnected from his actions (especially because, as we know, he was manipulated by thanos and the black order) and the violence that ensued in new york, although this desire definitely seems more of an internal conflict because he very much does not want to let down the mask he has that basically says “hey i don’t care that people are hurt because im a god and humans are boring and worthless”

you were unaware that a god could actually contract a minor cold, let alone a fever, and unfortunately, thor was away handling important business in new asgard, so it was just you, loki, and a team of heroes who could not care less what state he was in. that last part didn’t really matter, though. he was more approachable now that he was too fatigued to gripe about how much he loathed tony’s choice in body spray, and had too much of a headache to spark fear into bruce. 

honestly, as much as you enjoyed the silence, the lack of banter and smug quips made the place feel a little empty, less lively.

he blinked slowly as you knelt beside his bed and dabbed a cold, damp washcloth onto his face.

“feels nice,” he whispered faintly to you. he had been nothing but sweet to you after he realized that you were determined to cure his ailment. he suddenly shifted from his usual witty jokes to a friendly, kind demeanor. at first, you weren’t really sure what to think of it. a part of you warned against his manipulative facade and wanted you to believe that he was only taking advantage of your empathetic nature. but over the past few days, it really began to seem like his behavior was genuine, like he actually trusted you.

“yeah i bet,” you noted.

you had to hold back a smile as his eyelids drooped. you never thought there would come a day where the god of mischief was so ill, he was incapable of coming up with any kind of playful remark.

“do you need any more tea?” you asked, making sure to keep your voice just above a whisper so as to not worsen his headache.

“not at the moment,” he spoke, before curling his tall limbs into a ball and becoming one with his countless blankets and pillows.

“alrighty then,” you said before adding, “you know, you won’t cool off underneath all of those layers”

keeps cup ramen and a plug-in water kettle in his desk drawer so he can eat lunch in his classroom

he doenst like to mingle while his kids are in the cafeteria, he’d rather just sit and eat and grade papers

(and look at what his fellow redditors are saying)

sometimes he becomes lost in thought and starts doodling on someone’s homework or exam sheet

he is extremely particular about his earbuds (they have to feel just right in his ears before his brain allows him to actually enjoy the music)

often falls asleep listening to Cats on his CD player (which i do not approve of but hey he wore a Cats shirt so..)

his house is in between clean and messy, he knows where everything is because he has a specific spot for each thing, even if it’s unconventional to anyone else

he likes to take things apart (from pens to scientific instruments)

after a long day(?) in the lab all he wants is to curl up in his quilt in the “don’t go crazy room”

he wonders a lot about what happened to his students

he’s a mix of emotional and talkative when he’s drunk, which isn’t often

only when thor and the warriors return from another battle and asgard celebrates will he give in

he always ends up rambling about the most random things, and then sobbing in between his sentences

it’s funny to everyone and he doenst understand why, because despite being intoxicated he really is just expressing his emotions

he sleeps curled up in his vast sea of piilows and blankets

he’s got a huge fur blanket and it’s his favorite because his mother would wrap both of them in it before reading him a story before bed

he’s also very clingy and grabby in his sleep

even if he doenst fall asleep with a pillow in his arms he will most definitely wake up with one

he liked to read at least 1 book each day

he also likes mobile strategy games

he says it will help keep his mind sharp

bruce will never admit it, but he has one of superman’s capes and sleeps with it when he misses clark

the fact that it smells like his favorite person is the only way he can sleep without clark

clark obviously knows but he doesn’t tell bruce this because he knows it will embarrass him

alfred has caught them asleep together more times than he can count

ma sent sweet potato casserole to clark one year around thanksgiving and he gave some to bruce

bruce is obsessed.

clark has never seen so much emotion on bruce’s face

bruce secretly takes care of ma and pa’s finances

he pays their bills and feeds money into their accounts

clark is actually not aware of this one

14: honestly perks of being a wallflower had a big impact on me because i watched it for the first time right before i started my first year of high school. do not recommend. but also i do recommend because i really liked it (the book is wonderful as well. well not wonderful but yk its a good book).
