- The access panel on the sign is generally protected by a small lock, but often are left unprotected. Upon opening the access panel you can see the display electronics. - The black control pad is attached by a curly cord, with a keyboard on the face. - Programming is as simple as scrolling down the menu selection to "Instant Text". Type whatever you want to display, Hit Enter to submit. You can now either throw it up on the sign by selecting "Run w/out save" or you can add more pages to it by selecting "Add page"

** HACKER TIPS ** Should it will ask you for a password. Try "DOTS", the default password. In all likelihood, the crew will not have changed it. However if they did, never fear. Hold "Control" and "Shift" and while holding, enter "DIPY". This will reset the sign and reset the password to "DOTS" in the process. You're in!

Just got some pretty serious glow work done to have a microchip pattern on my arm. The glow powder currently is just blobbing over it, but I’ll change bandages out and it will set in place soon. In the meantime, it looks like a I got in an industrial accident at the slime girl factory.

Believe it or not, pain is pretty minimal. I took 800mg of ibuprofen 6 hours ago to keep swelling down. I’ll probably take another 800mg soon (for short periods of time up to 3200mg is safe). The worst part is going to be later in the week when the nerves start healing. It’s soo itchy. I’ll be at work then…yay me!

The “goop” draining from the wound has mostly stopped. It’s definitely nice not having to worry about going through saniderm constantly. At this point, the best thing you can really do is wrap it in a clean saniderm and let the healing do its thing, and leave it alone.

Unfortunately, the itching on this mod is particularly unpleasant. With how big it is that’s not surprising. Whereas it’s good to use some ibuprofen/NSAIDs during the initial healing stage, I’ve heard that taking NSAIDs at this stage can increase the itchiness. To my understanding, NSAIDs reduce the effectiveness of certain mechanisms that clear histamines from your body. Note: The itching when your body heals literally is just histamines.

Despite the unpleasantness, this is a good thing. It just means your body is healing like it should. That said, it can be bad if it’s so uncomfortable that you are having trouble sleeping. Or in my case, I have a bad habit of scratching things in my sleep like that. You can take a low dose of an antihistamine to help. Just don’t overdo it.

Some people use corticosteroid ointments on these sorts of things, but be careful with that. You really don’t want a fungal infection. Plus if you use it too much, it will significantly slow down healing. One thing I did find helpful: I took a dab of hydrocortisone cream and rubbed it around the borders of the saniderm. This helped calm down the area, but didn’t have the potential complications of applying it straight to the wound.

Oh yeah, quick update with this: overall the healing is going quite well. You’ll notice that on some of the lines, the powder is beginning to dry out. This is normal. The skin will take it quite a bit of the powder, but there is an upper limit to how much of it your skin can accommodate while still growing tissue through it.

When it’s fully healed, a layer of that will fall off, but there will still be enough in there for it to glow plenty. You can keep a layer of the crystallized strontium aluminate and blood plasma if you really want lmao. It’s fascinating seeing how much of this your body actually can absorb and integrate with your flesh. I’m curious if this large area will have a different feeling/texture with all that powder in it. Strontium aluminate is incredibly hard. It’s perhaps wishful thinking, but it would be pretty cool to say I gave myself a form of armor from this modification.
