I love how as a Evemer and Kadou are such different people but they're so motivated by the desire to be Good, like the almost obsessive desire to be Good, but they go about it in different ways. Kadou tries to be Good through self recrimination and anxiously weighing himself and actions against Goodness and devaluing himself. Evemer as a does it through trying to obey the rules to the upmost extent possible because of course the rules are Correct and by doing the rules he can be Good, by following orders he can be Good. And it's cute to see them learn from each other ways to be good that are a little more conducive to happiness and their own well-being

âMadeleine Silarjuangatâ This is the last large solar system I made. I created it for a custom order so I personalised it with my client who offered it to his wife for her birthday last year âĽď¸ This embroidery is called âMadeleine Silarjuangatâ, which means âMadeleineâs worldâ in Inuit. My client lives in Canada, he wanted to name his embroidery after his wife, the Inuit language has a rich history of stars and legends about life above. Thank you again Kirt! I hope to have more opportunities like this to create more unique and custom orders, it is always very interesting and challenging for me to have to work directly for a client. âMadeleine Silarjuangatâ Hand embroidery. Unique piece. Custom order. 32 cm diameter. DMC embroidery thread, cannetille, Swarovski crystal beads, 24kt gold-plated beads, stone beads and glass beads on linen. Wooden frame. https://www.etsy.com/fr/shop/OphelieTrichereau I take custom orders. #embroidery #broderie #planets #solarsystem #universe #scienceart #spaceart #embroiderer #theearth #thesun #sun #mars #jupiter #saturn #cosmosartwork #handembroidery #ophelietrichereau #solarsystemembroidery #sunartwork #soleilart #planetembroidery #universeartwork #astronomyart #dmcembroidery #astroembroidery #astronomylovers #spaceembroidery #cosmicart #outerspaceart #galaxyembroidery
The belated continuation of the fanciful brooms collection. Instead of more flora brooms, I chose to explore fauna brooms~
I actually drew this months back but completely forgot about it ahaha
I still have dozens of broom ideas thanks to everyone's suggestions and I'll be working on those as inspiration strikes!
People actually boarded flight 666 on Friday the 13th to HEL
Hel yeah

Did you guys know that John Musker and Ron Clements think an animated movie should be like a treehouseââplayful and imaginative, but showing you something thatâs always been there, like your backyard has always been there, from a fresh perspective?â
Because people want to go up in a treehouse. They like it, itâs fun. Even adults see a treehouse and something in them goes âI want to check it out up there.â And then theyâre not seeing a reality that wasnât there before. Theyâre seeing reality which was always there, fresh, thanks to the treehouse.
John Musker and Ron Clements did these movies.
What have we learned?
Stories are not about escaping reality. Theyâre are about escaping the lies weâve started believing by seeing reality from a fresh perspective.
Use this to beat the snot out of any argument that goes âitâs just a good story, not everything has to have a messageâ like those two things are somehow opposed to each other, when actually, âgood storyâ and âmessageâ canât exist without one another.
The message just has to be about something true. Not âa truth.â The truth. Not a fanciful idea that can help you escape realityâa new way of phrasing reality so that you can accept reality a little easier, and even be hopeful about it.
I had this one coworker at the sex shop with the worst taste in men. Weâll call her J. Truly, she was a very sweet girl who would date absolute trashbag men. Theyâd crash her car, steal her shit, and generally treat her very poorly.
That didnât mean the rest of the store didnât play âWho Has the Shittiest Partnerâ because if there was any stereotype about the kind of girl who worked in a sex shop it was girls with absolutely atrocious taste. Not just the straight girls, either. The lesbian and bi girls had just as shitty stories. I was an outlier who always sat out these conversations because my partner at the time was so precious.
So we were all surprised and delighted when Jâs newest guy came in to pick her up. He was nicely dressed, very charismatic, a widower. He was a bit older than her but we were all ready to overlook the age gap because he was so charming and J was so happy.
I only met him once or twice when he came to pick her up for a date but things were going well. She told us he was sad sometimes about his wife whoâd gone missing several years ago but that he treated her like a princess.
That was great! We were happy.
Then the cops showed up one day. They asked if J was working and I got the manager. We never gave out schedules, not even to cops. But they did catch up to her eventually.
She came in distraught the day after. It turns out that her dreamy widower was wanted for questioning. Because apparently due to some new forensics process they were able to apply it turned out he very probably killed his wife.
Iâm not sure if he still had the rug or whether they searched his house but apparently a rug from his possession was now testing positive for having had A Lot of Blood in it.
He ghosted J so she didnât know where to find him but turned up not long after in police custody. We commiserated as best we could but anytime someone complained about their partner to J sheâd just give them a look and instantly won the shittiest ex debate.

You are the adventurer who went on an epic quest and defeated the evil king, all to gain the sacred amulet and use its one wish to revive your sister. Now everyone expects you to accept her death and use the wish to undo the damage instead. You refuse.
Blood has stopped streaming from the wound bisecting your brow, but it still stings your eyes something fierce. You take your gauntlets off, grimacing as the grime and soot from battle tries to keep the metal welded to your skin. Thereâd been an explosion during the final fight with the king â no, the tyrant. Explosions, maybe. Your magicâs been erratic lately, the sudden growth of your mana pool far outpacing your control. You wipe your eyes with the back of your cleaner hand.
Thereâs pressure in your chest youâve never felt before. You want to laugh. No, you want to scream. Your body is too tired to jump around like you did when you were a little girl, but you find yourself bouncing in place regardless. The thrill of battle and of escaping the castle as it collapsed is thrumming through your veins. You did it. You did it.
You are so happy, so devastatingly happy, that you can feel yourself shutting down. You needâyou need rest. Food. Sleep.
Then you can save her. Then you can bring her back.
âRoksala,â Prince Eloyn says. You squint past the last rays of day to see him frowning at you. The ruins of the tyrantâs castle donât appear to interest him. His eyes narrow. âAre you ignoring me?â
It is So Boring in the mattress store for kids. Itâs basically hell for children because thereâs fuckall to do for them.
A couple I was helping earlier had two little ones, three and six, who were behaving in a rather saintly fashion for the average bored kid I see. I tried to engage them with remotes and things while their parents talked.
Eventually they were restless enough that I pulled out notepads and asked if they wanted to draw. The three year old quickly lost interest and I went over to ask her favorite animal. She told me âelephantâ so to delight and amaze her I started drawing an elephant. Usually kids are into it.
When I was done she pronounced, âIt looks like a giraffe.â
I staggered back melodramatically but actually laughing hysterically and said, âThere goes my art degree!â
The parents laughed and said kids were harsh critics. When they checked out they saw my elephant doodle on the desk and both did a double take like, âWoah, thatâs a really good elephant!â
âYeah, I actually did go to art school, but itâs okay. My niece wasnât very impressed with my drawings at that age either.â
Behold, a giraffe.
