I love that I can’t unsee the first impulse glance of that cat floating and I gotta share it. So much power, so mundane. Cat to the core. 

imagine you’re leia organa and you spent the last three years denying your very obvious feelings for han solo and sticking to it even when said han solo straight up calls you out on it and then it looks like he’s almost certainly going to die and you realise this is the last chance you’re ever going to have to tell him how you feel and you waited so long and for what FOR WHAT you should’ve told him every single day. and then. And Then. han solo tells you you don’t need to regret it because he already knew. nobody on letterboxd understands that i know is about RELIEF!!!!!!!

Being crazy about a piece of media for any amount of time will leave a weird mark on you forever because years later you’ll see someone posting something about it like “can we talk about this frame” and you’ll be like “ah that frame. i know all about that frame. I was once a scholar of that frame.”

Babysitting a toddler is a lot like being the narration in a point-and-click adventure game. Watching him knock on the doors of empty rooms and saying "hmm. I don't think anyone's in there". Watching him attempt to use [spoon] on [cat] and saying "I don't think those things go together". Watching him throw a cup of water onto the floor and just commenting "the floor is wet now" when he looks up at me to see if I approve.
