I know I’m always talking about teaching David Copperfield but I wanna talk about teaching David Copperfield. I can’t really explain it but it’s like opening a casket full of honey and wine and sweet things to students who are very used to trash.

I should have realized this before but 😭😭😭 Davy is the undisciplined heart 😭😭😭 and Agnes is the disciplined heart 😭😭😭 and I just 😭😭😭

often when I really, really like somebody- in either a romantic or a platonic way-and it’s a really specific, powerful, painful thing I take that feeling and bury it so far down inside of my heart that no one, including me and the person who inspired the feeling, can ever find it. and I, for one, think that is super healthy and mature of me.

Remember in 2010 when Taio Cruz said "I throw my hands up in the air sometimes"? I appreciated his restraint. You can't just throw your hands up in the air whenever. There's a time and a place, and that time was 2010, and the place was the club.
