Literally every single human on the face of this entire fucking planet has talent and ingenuity in them, it is absolutely not special or exceptional. The ONLY reason some people never demonstrate any skills or ideas that knock anyone's socks off is simply that we live in a world with 100 billion different things in it and we only have at most ten measly decades to find what we're really passionate and good at, with the vast majority of people crushed under the ruthlessness of modern society before they ever have the chance. ANYONE privileged with the resources, time and motivation can be a "MoZaRt" or whatever the fuck. Yes even Elon Musk might have turned out to be like, I don't know, an absolutely amazing baker or sculptor if he ever had a reason to give a shit, but instead he's wasted his life just paying other people to do whatever he thinks will make him look cool. He is what a wasted mind looks like. He could do whatever he wanted with his life and still never tried to figure out an honest creative outlet of his own.

It's almost like our elderly suffer from extreme loneliness and mental degradation and introducing them to a community based around something positive (music, a fun little game) rather than an endless pit of paranoia and giving them something to stimulate their brain and regrow neurons(you can repair your brain at any age as long as you give it stimulation, like music, or puzzles) will help them recover from what can only be described as a soul sucking addiction

you never truly appreciate good internet unless you have bad internet

if you have a solid, timely connection that isn't blinking in and out right now, take a minute to really live in the moment. for me. because mine is currently dogshit

i once lost internet at home for a month. that's completely changed my stance on physical media and downloads. people are too reliant on streaming. you need DVDs and CDs and mp3s and books and magazines and mkvs and whatever else. you will not always have perfect access to the internet. it's a good idea to make sure that doesn't leave you without anything
