it literally doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things it’s not like radfem optics will ever be good on here but I’m so pissed about how we are apparently being blamed for cockslinger harassing us. I was sent unsolicited nudes and rape threats and reported and blocked sooo many of those bots for around a year now just to be told it’s my fault lol???? I feel genuine sympathy for anyone those bots target regardless of their views but it stings a bit knowing that solidarity only goes one way.

I watched and knew about this, the reason the mother wanted to "cancel" is because he was showing SEVERE mental health issues (obviously) and she was concerned about the surgery because of that. She did not just call up on his behalf and cancel it (IDK if you can even do that) but her concerns were so valid and, uh, concerning, that they went ahead and did it. She didn't even mean to get it full blown cancelled IIRC, and she didn't. It was just delayed.
I get when radfems wanna defend tifs but speaking as a former one I think downplaying the very real misogyny is harmful. There IS an element of internalized misogyny with it the majority of the time and it should be addressed. Also osa tifs are so fucking insanely homophobic and it actually is incredibly gross and weird to pretend to be a part of a sexual minority and trying to invade their spaces and be homophobic to them even if the person doing it is a woman. I think homophobia from women is bad also actually idk. I used to larp as a gay man and I'm telling u it was so fucking gross and weird of me to do and I wish someone would have put me in my place then and been like "you're a female and this is conversion therapy rehtoric."
I kind of agree to be honest. I do think that some (not all, or most) radfems do a genuine disservice when they downplay it. Especially because I think opening the door to any conversion therapy rhetoric opens the door to all of it. The movement as a whole (not every single individual) has shown that when you give them an inch, they take a mile. I really think that downplaying the very real element of homophobia and misogyny in the communities also kinda does a disservice.
At the same time, however, I think people are doing a disservice when they becoming aggressive towards TIFs who aren't as bad as others, and push them back into the arms of TIMs. Not only is that bad for obvious reasons related to feminism but TIMs treat these women like actual cattle (as any male does) and it's sickening. I try to be open and welcoming to anyone questioning and in the process of detransitioning or desisting or anything else related, but I'm also not going to keep my mouth shut about homophobic and misogynistic rehtoric if I see it, even if the person spouting it is a woman.
