okay so listen. I accidentally came up with a fic concept and now it lives rent free in my head (It’s not because the new Hades chapter is killing me and I need some fluff. Absolutely not.)

Celine, an engineer working on a top‑secret supersoldier program, ends up saving Rumi’s life by implanting military tech that absolutely should not be outside a classified lab. The same accident injures Mi‑yeong so badly she can’t work as a surgeon anymore.

So what do they do?

They quit their government jobs, disappear into Seoul, and open a tiny flower shop, all the while trying to make sense of the feelings growing between them.

You all showed up in force, yelled at me and now here we are. You got what you wanted: I’m officially writing the first chapter.

Here’s a little sneak peek of what’s coming

She turned her head back to the monitor, focusing on the new order. That was a lot of flowers for a funeral.

“You abandoned me and you’re not even sorry,” she sighed dramatically. “And here I thought we were friends.”

“I think you were a much more pleasant face for that young man.”

Celine’s fingers froze above the keyboard.

“Mi‑yeong,” she said in a very serious voice, now fully focused on the woman beside her. “Never let anyone convince you you’re not beautiful anymore. Do you hear me? Anyone who thinks that should throw themselves under a train immediately.”

Mi‑yeong’s eye widened to the size of a saucer, her cheeks darkened, and Celine had the fleeting thought that the woman in front of her with her eyepatch and cheek marked by long scars had never looked more beautiful.

“Anyway, it’s always good to practice anniversary bouquets,” she said, looking away. “Who knows when Rumi might need one.”

Teenage Mira thought she would be able to beat Celine at Just Dance… Terrible mistake! 🕺💅

The Rose and Violet mod drop-kicked me right back into my Persona 5 obsession, and specifically Ann (and Sae, but she's not the point here-), and that got me thinking about how kpdh has a lot of thematic similarities to Persona as a whole (less with 5 than the rest of the franchise, but still.)

Au where Ann is the Wildcard and, after some Akira-adjacent shenanigans with Kamoshida, is expelled from Shujin. They don't press charges to try and sweep her motives for mauling the gym teacher under the rug, and Kamoshida frames it as him being just So Nice And Understanding to such a troubled teen, so she ends up sent to live with some relatives on her grandparents side in America, where the incident won't follow her.

Specifically, Burbank USA.

Meanwhile on the Hunters end, Celine wakes up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night and bolts to check on Rumi, the Honmoon screaming that one of it's new Hunters is in unimaginable danger.
