I never thought I would write something like this, but my sister is going through a serious health condition and urgently needs treatment that we cannot afford on our own. Every day feels heavier than the one before, but we are still trying to hold on to hope and do everything we can for her.
She is not just a patient to me—she is my sister, my support, and a huge part of my life. Seeing her in this condition is something I struggle to put into words. We are trying everything we can, but the medical expenses are far beyond our ability right now.
I am not asking for miracles, just for this message to reach kind people who might be able to help or share it further. Even a simple reblog could connect us with someone who can make a difference.

and whenever people criticize women who get cosmetic procedures done and who enslave themselves to beauty standards it’s always met with “it’s not their fault, it’s the patriarchy” and i find that to be such a circular, never ending blame game. yes fucking obviously it’s the true fault of the patriarchy but you can’t hold a system of social hierarchy accountable because the decisions individuals make constitute said system. and turning it into a chicken or the egg debate does nothing besides shift blame to something that cannot be reckoned with or addressed. stop blaming the patriarchy at large for the individual decisions of fully autonomous women
