i hate webps so much but i converted a lot of the imgs on my site to webp because i can't lie the file size do be way smaller. i'll be damned before i let my site lag like one of those kawaii pink sites that's rife with chiikawa pngs and lace borders and unoptimized javascript

your header would stand out more if your blog color was darker. not necessarily solid black but closer to the darkest color that can be dropper-selected from the picture. also the pic itself can be clearer-looking with some brightness and contrast adjustments

Its crazy that people like James Baldwin were talking about how white queers feel "cheated" out of the privilege they feel like they should have because they are white but they are also queer which immediately others them from it, so thats why they act Like That ™️ and now its 2026 and you still have people on here fully acting like their whiteness doesnt matter and they are more oppressed than people of color for being queer (completely ignoring queer people of color) its literally maddening, theres literally white queer people on here saying shit like "[queer identity] are the Black people of the queer community" wholeheartedly, and we are not supposed to call them out for it cause hmmm they are oppressed too yknow 🥺
