Giant African Land Snails eat bones in order to get calcium for their shells, but are also among God's most innocent of creatures and thus contain no malice. Hope this helps.

Giant African land snails are (as far as I know) the only invasive species in the US that poses risks to all three categories of environmental damage, human health, AND structural damage--because they will eat stucco and plaster in their hunt for calcium.

Of course I don't blame the snails for this, they are just doing their snail thing and it's not their fault we introduced them to a new place where there's lots of delicious native vegetation and building materials to devour. But if bones are not available they WILL eat your house.

If you're ever worried about whether your writing is too self indulgent, I just want you to remember that Sharknado had 5 sequels. I'm only partway through watching Sharknado 6: It's About Time, but already they've traveled through time and ridden a pteronadon into a Sharknado so they could use the magic teleportation portal inside of it to travel forward in time to King Arthur's time, where they are currently battling a Sharknado full of fire-breathing dragon sharks with Excalibur, which is a chainsaw sword that calls lightning. You're fine. In fact, be a little more self indulgent if anything.

Because I'm correct. The movies aren't the greatest movies of all time or anything, but they are loved, because they are fun, because the creators clearly had fun making exactly what they wanted, no matter how indulgent it might seem to anyone else, and the actors put their hearts into it and were also clearly having fun. It's okay to do that, and making something you really want to make instead of what you think other people want you to make WILL show in your creation. I will go bonkers loving a movie or show or book or piece of artwork that loves itself and is fun before I ever do for some bland, soulless thing.

A lot of people have mistaken my original post as a dig at Sharknado. It's not. It's 100% saying if you were a little more like that, it's actually fine. People will still love what you create. Hell, they might even love it more when you make things you clearly liked to make.

I am a 27 year old electrical engineer who works in a little secret lab in the middle of buttfuck Egypt. For one two month period, the office supply order changed from normal erasers to these, and I will not lie - every time I thought I was alone, I would sneak one out of my desk and eat it. They looked delicious. Tasted mid, but the appearance was so stunning that my brain just kept thinking, surely, the rest were a fluke, but THIS TIME it will taste like fruit and sugar.

Anyway, eventually the order stopped, and I was very worried that somehow, they’d found out that I was eating their erasers. So I kind of casually brought it up to my manager that I was sad that they swapped the erasers out, and he was like “yeah, but I kept eating them so they couldn’t stay.”

I'm disabled and cannot work, I also should be able to live in a one bed apartment by myself and not starve myself to make rent and pay bills.

Additionally, the financial aid I get should not be dependant on me struggling alone. If I wish to live with a partner or marry, I should not be be financially punished so that I cannot afford basic costs.

We all, whether we are able to work or not, deserve to be able to afford to live. We all have worth that is not dependent on our productivity levels.

Day 1: Birth of the Universe The chaotic beginnings set the stage for the eons that followed. Explore the early days of the universe and all that transpired.

Day 2: Primeval Of all the beings, only the Primeval Gods can exist without the Universe. Shine a spotlight on these gods who prefer and pull the strings from the back.

Day 3: Kindergarten AU From destroying villages to knocking over toy blocks. From death to time outs. Bring the innocent cuteness that Kubera normally lacks!

Day 4: The Finite The light novel featuring the Taksaka and Ian. Give some love to the characters and settings of this side story!

Day 5: Goobera/Modern AU Whether it be high school hijinks, the boredom of officework, or even gangs and assassins in the present day–give the Kubera characters a break and shrink their worries down to a human scale.

Day 6: Cataclysm Two Primeval gods disappeared, planets were destroyed, and a barrier was erected to divide the realms. Tell the tales and depict the events that happened during this turning point.

Day 7: Genderbend AU Be as close to canon or as far from it as you want. Anything goes as long as someone’s gender has changed!

Kuberafest will begin in a exactly one month. May everyone find the time to fill the prompts and let the fanworks overflow!
