your education system has failed to teach you important everyday life skills, that's all. it's not your fault that life is complicated and overwhelming and you aren't sure where to start. everyone feels overwhelmed sometimes, it doesn't make you stupid or a failure.

nobody turns 30 and just magically becomes a successful adult who knows everything about everything. being a successful adult is about a journey of identifying what you don't know and need help with, reaching out to get help, allowing yourself to experience the embarrassment of learning new things and being bad at them at first, and consistently practicing them until you feel confident in your new skills.

it's not easy, but it's not impossible either. you've got a good start by being smart enough to know what you don't know, and having the initiative to want to know it. you'd be surprised how far ahead that puts you.
