That’s a very interesting thought.Since it’s confirmed that the time span in which Aizawa can use his quirk hasbeen shortened after what happened at USJ, taking it a step further and sayingthat he could bleed out of his eyes is not even that farfetched. Especiallysince he always had a bit blood-shot eyes… hmmm. I really like this idea!(Reminds me a bit of the Uchiha-family from Naruto).

Though, I don’t really see why Micwould bleed out of his ears. I see the symbolism – hear no evil, speak no evil,see no evil, but I don’t really see how this would be possible or why it wouldhappen. Though I do think that Micprobably is near deaf, because I once heard that he busted the eardrums of hisparents with his scream when he was born… wouldn’t that mean that, after usinghis quirk for his whole life, his ears would be affected, too?

So while I don’t really see Mic bleedingfrom his ears, I think him being deaf would be a more logical and similar ideato this. It would also fulfill the part of hear no evil, right? ;)

Reversing the Obama administration’s order to grant trans students access to restrooms, locker rooms, etc. The Republicans feel that such things should be based on biological gender, not gender identity.

Treating internet porn as “a public health crisis.” Quote: “Pornography, with his harmful effects, especially on children, has become a public health crisis that is destroying the life of millions. We encourage states to continue to fight this public menace and pledge our commitment to children’s safety and wellbeing[.]”

Gender discrimination. To quote Time magazine: “[T]he platform committee voted against including the word “gender” in a list of types of discrimination that should be opposed.   On Tuesday, one member described the attempt to add that word to a list including qualities like race, sex and creed as a “sneak attack.”

Repeal of the Johnson Amendment. The Johnson Amendment currently prevents churches and other tax-exempt organizations from organizing politically, endorsing political candidates, etc. Repealing it would throw separation of church and state out the window…not to mention that it would give evangelical churches and televangelist organizations much more power, driving the country further to the right.

So, during this story I’m in St Louis staying in one of the large hotels just a 10 minute walk from the Arch. I had been there for five days with my friends for a big competition. I mean absolutely massive (see: FIRST Robotics) so it wasn’t a big surprise that the entire hotel was booked with other teams. Quite a few of them were from our district, as well.

After closing ceremonies of the competition, the buddy-buddy teams from my team’s district planned a small celebration and invited us to hang out with them. We’re all really good friends so a few students attended. It was just in one of the small conference rooms reserved for robotics teams for the week.

Everyone was hungry and waiting for food to arrive. Just a few hours earlier I had received my food 2 hours late and was just watching the lightning (which is probably why it was late). Everyone at the celebration had a similar fate.

Fortunately one girl from another team shows up out of nowhere with a giant bag of apples. She looks extremely confused at the group of teenagers before her. “I heard you guys wanted apples?”

The group had not in fact asked anyone for apples and told her so. She responds, “Uhm, I heard to be at this party you needed to bring a bag of apples.” Neither my team nor any of the other ones know where she got this idea and just give her a weird look. Eventually she just chucks the bag of apples into the room and hurriedly says “Well, bed check is in one minute bye” before running off down the hall. Everyone was confused at that point because why would someone go to a party if they had to be back in their room after one minute? But hey, free apples. The hunger was partially appeased.

A few of the guys from another team weren’t that satisfied by the bag of apples and so they decided to order pizza from Dominoes which would hopefully be faster. They make the call and place their order for their food and begin to wait.

The party drags on for at least another hour or two and the guys who ordered their pizza started to get a bit irritable about when it would show up. One of them decides to pull out their laptop and check out the online pizza tracking. It’s stuck at “Stage 2: Making Your Pizza” and was stuck that way for awhile. Finally fed up of waiting, one guy decides to walk to the Dominoes they ordered from.

A while passes and the guy returns. He tells the group, “Guys, I don’t think we’re getting our pizza.” Of course everyone asks why. Apparently when he arrived he found a bunch of sirens and fire trucks. Firemen were trying to contain a large blaze where he was trying to get to. The entire pizza place was burning down because apparently it gotten struck by LIGHTNING.

The background here: my girlfriend had a 1944 dollhouse that she grew up with, and acquired bits of ‘furniture’ to make the experience more real. We were just down at her mom’s place for the holidays and, feeling nostalgic, she set up the bedroom. Her cat, Sunny, being the quirky thing that she is, finds new things interesting and manifests this curiosity by lying on them. These pics capture that moment: a small doll house bedroom with a gigantic Maine Coon, head resting on the pillow and everything. The first pic caught her getting comfortable, with her tongue just sticking out of her mouth.
