Proposal #1 was the world trip and ended in ruin. Proposal #2 was the Ceremony of Transmogrification and ended in rejection.

But Proposal #3….they’re going to be partners. Warriors side by side.

The glitter portrait wasn't some cheap shitty little gift to appease Guillermo. It was an entire portrait Nandor made of fucking glitter by hand, of the two of them together forever. Jordan put a shitty print in a cheap frame and Guillermo definitely felt the parallel, but it is NOT the same and I hope he knows that.

Nandor was disgusted with Jordan's disdain and contempt because he never felt those things toward Guillermo. And when Guillermo called him out on his thoughtlessness, Nandor would apologize and/or try to make it right! And Nandor didn't wait so long to turn Guillermo just to keep him strung along. He waited because he was genuinely afraid Guillermo wouldn't thrive as a vampire.

I cannot stress enough that this man is nearly 800 years old, but he looks at this little 30-something guy he's only known for 15 years--a drop in the vast bucket of his extended lifetime--who is also born to be his enemy...and he basically says "you are my destiny and I am yours. Let's never be apart again."

so with every new episode, i subscribe even more to the “guillermo is an energy vampire” theory. in last night’s episode i thought that it was odd that he seemed confused about falling asleep, and it felt like one of those things that you think doesn’t matter, but turns out to be a little clue for later. this season feels veeeery similar to s3 to me, in terms of storytelling.

i have also been thinking about how the description for the finale is just “a twist causes a change of plans” or something along those lines.

my personal belief is that we’ll get confirmed EV guillermo in ep 10, & i think that guillermo’s promotion will likely be about him leaving staten island to go work elsewhere. the twist in the finale will be that oh, shocker, nandor has been in love with guillermo this whole time, & the change in plans is either nandor goes with him or guillermo decides to stay.
