A Carpe Diem Chess Husbands observation

So, after explaining the concept of a bucket list to Fanny, Julian decides he'd like to go out like he did in life: Doing it. (And we all know what "it" is here.)

He considers Fanny, but quickly discounts her. Later we see him do the same with Kitty. After that he goes down into the basement to try it with the plaguers.

But.

Since Mary is already gone at this point, Fanny and Kitty are the ONLY female upstairs ghosts - what the hell was Julian doing in the meantime??

Well, right before he runs into Kitty, we see him come down the small stairs over the basement. Who do we later see sitting at the top of those very stairs with his mouse family?

Right.

Re-listening to the Inside Ghosts podcasts for the first time since they were first released and I just realised some potential origins for a joke in the show..

Which sounds very much like a brilliant line from S5 e1....
