Naturally my first instinct was tangerine runs hot (he’s hotheaded after all) and Court runs cold (since he acts colder and more composed).

But then I thought about it more and I think the opposite actually fits better.

Court is such a protective figure and warmth is associated a lot with safety and love, which he definitely represents. Meanwhile Tangerine is a lot less of a warm person lol even with Lemon he’ll yell at and threaten him

So for an extra hc I seem to have unconsciously written Tangerine to have abandonment issues that have translated into an avoidant attachment style, which you know what considering the backstory I’ve given him actually makes sense.

Unfortunately I have also written Courtland to have avoidant attachment considering you know everything so this relationship is gonna be messy as hell.

Whether in the PHM universe with Mon as a supportive politician for the project or the Star Wars universe where Stratt is a rebellion leader (because she would be, akin to Luthen with the any means necessary).

They both are fighting for a better future for the world, to save lives, and help others. They both have dedicated their lives to their work, in ways that may be detrimental to their personal lives, but they’re willing to do it because the cause is so much bigger than them.

Both studied History too—Stratt at undergraduate and Mon when she was 15 and wanted to be a historian (mentioned in the Rogue One Novelisation)—in a way that clearly informs their world views.

Also Tangerine finding out about Ryder’s murder plot and just being disappointed he got caught.

“I’m your twin, you’re supposed to help me!”

“Nah, Lemon’s my twin. You’re just some mug who shares my face.”

Even funnier in the same universe at Coltland Gentry because what are the odds two families have estranged assassin brothers?

Plus Starstruck & Sixerine and its just Colt just astounded by both his brothers falling for two different men with same face, like “He’s not even that handsome.”

Two messed up alcoholic detectives who lost their wives and are in deep self-hatred and regret, who form a partnership with someone more straight-laced than them and keeping them on track (while they in a way derails them).
