am working on a thing and had the thought about tom getting ryland a gold charm bracelet and every new city he goes to he gets ryland a charm and so by the time he's done with a movie or a show, ryland's got a whole bracelet that's all the places tom's been. tom thinks that ryland just keeps it on his dresser at home but then he gets a cute selfie from ryland in his classroom and he sees the bracelet and tom just stares. he didn't think ryland would actually wear it... it's silly anyway...

Wait I wanna add in that maybe Tom gifted the gift bracelet to Ryland because he saw Ryland crazy expensive watch and realizes there’s probably a lot of good looking rich dudes in Ryland’s field who Ryland can have talks with and not have to explain things simply and it not only makes him jealous but also stresses him out because Rylie is his and no one else’s. Mind you, Ryland’s a teacher now but he’s told Tom that due to a project he was/is on, he’s been able to re-enter his old field and is respected and sought after so Tom makes sure the charms are delivered by carrier wherever Ryland is at the moment.
