A pastor says donations of bottled water to his Flint church have dried up in the past month.

Donations poured in from across the nation in the weeks and months after it was learned that Flint’s drinking water was contaminated with lead. At times, the response nearly overwhelmed the effort to distribute water to Flint residents.

I also think about how wild it is that women get mocked and made fun of for pretending to be interested in sports and other things that are typically understood as male interests, and it seems like we’re the weird ones for doing that, but it’s crazy how there’s no pressure on men to be interested in, or at least understand anything considered feminine, like, wouldn’t you want to have knowledge about something your significant other is interested in?

it’s pretty damn big for even Chris Hemsworth (below only the MCU films and Snow White and the Huntsman)

Paul Feig has a track record of consistently solid box office sales rather than big opening weekends

the audience was 57% female, which is an UNUSUALLY high proportion for a blockbuster 

a large proportion of people who refused to see it ~on principle~ clearly don’t give a rat’s ass about cinematic quality because most of the initial reviews prior to release were at least favourable if not straight-out raves

and finally,

1) she is described as having relationships with many men, implying that bi women who have dated mostly men are Actually Straight/attempting to define and analyze the levels and frequencies of bi people’s attraction as if that means something, which is just gross and misogynistic and bad.

2) a blatant refusal to accept that rose likely loved in a way we would describe as polyamorous. the show has repeatedly emphasized that rose loved both pearl and greg and didn’t seem to see a need to pick one or the other (not to mention RS is quoted as saying pearl’s love was NOT unrequited, and yet there seems to be this idea that because we see flashbacks of greg and rose together there’s No Possible Way she could have also been interested in being with pearl at the same time. ignoring this aspect of rose’s love life is so frustrating, especially for anyone who is poly.

I got so much crap when I cut my hair the second time. All I heard was, “you have such beautiful hair why did you cut it?” When my hair got long enough I got loc extensions. I heard nothing but praise. “Now you look like a woman.” “Don’t ever cut your hair again, you look so much better.” Until I went home and my grandparents gave me crap for having locs.
