also. this is gross. but i'm quitting smoking and what no one tells you is that for awhile, i saw some ppl online saying up to a year even, that means you're just hacking up like mucus encased tar. cuz apparently there's these hair like things called cilia in your lungs that slowly move stuff upward so you're able to cough it out, and smoking like. 24/7 365 for the past 5 years had my cilia all fucked up, so now it's finally coming back online and being like holy shit you need this out of here NOW.

hey just to update. i am hacking up tar / resin / particulate from smoking Now, it's more like floating brown bits. the thick black stuff i coughed up for the first couple of days was not tar but all the dried blood that has collected in my lungs over the past 5 years. this can also be a sign of other worse things if persistent but since my sputum is following the usual progression for quitting and my doctor put me on antibiotics for the cold/illness that made my throat hurt so bad i finally quit, i am less worried. i also have chest pain we think is from me pulling a muscle from coughing and blowing my nose so hard the past couple weeks. my doctor told me the last time she had covid she was coughing so hard she broke a rib so like. the physical pain and strain from harsh coughing is real

I am a 27 year old electrical engineer who works in a little secret lab in the middle of buttfuck Egypt. For one two month period, the office supply order changed from normal erasers to these, and I will not lie - every time I thought I was alone, I would sneak one out of my desk and eat it. They looked delicious. Tasted mid, but the appearance was so stunning that my brain just kept thinking, surely, the rest were a fluke, but THIS TIME it will taste like fruit and sugar.
