I Knew It Was Over When...

He laughed at me when I mentioned that I wanted to talk about my feelings.

You said you hated small talk but then proceeded to tell me the score at your hockey game that evening.

You flat out dissed my hobbies but expected me to participate in yours.

He kept comparing my body and appearance to famous actors, models, and athletes. Nope! You get me, fool! Don't flatter yourself!

I realized you didn't tell ANYONE that we were dating.

He mocked me for ordering Penne Alfredo. It was too plain. I just didn't want to order the shrimp skewer and such because it was on his gift card.

We only had a limited time together on this mall date. He took me to a dress shop. I’m a butch. He made me try on dresses. I was so embarrassed.

I was glad to offer my vehicle to help him pick up groceries, but was taken aback when he ignored me the whole time at the store and would walk away while answering my questions. I had to get him to repeat so many things because I couldn't hear his answers.

A neg: “When I met you, I thought you talked a lot, but you actually don’t talk as much now.”

He said he needed to leave my place on the earlier side so he could get home to bed. Then he started messaging a friend from his laptop that we were looking at together. I could read the messages that he was sending and then he responded out loud as he was typing. "Yeah, I'd be down to go out to a show tonight."

So much negging: "Your breasts are really small...but I like them."

Even more negging, this time about my body. According to him, my "weird, little body."

More negging: "You're the weirdest person I've ever met."

He negged me when I mentioned a store that I like to shop at for organic health products saying: "I would never shop there, those stores infuriate me, but that's cool that you like to check out places in the city."

He was mansplaining to me about MY job.
