Star Guardian lightcannon actually has such a strong hold on my heart. The fact that it is CANON that Jinx does not care about protecting the world, nor does she care about saving people or giving back, the only thing she’s truly fighting for is Lux’s safety and happiness. The world has never been kind to Jinx, this much we can infer, but the fact Lux and her are friends from childhood tells us clearly that Lux is that constant in her life. She’s that one piece of goodness Jinx can rely on, and she needs to make sure Lux can rely on her as well. Nothing else matters, the world can burn for all she cares, as long as Lux is safe. Even if it costs her own life, as long as Lux is safe everything is okay.
