I'm currently working on a draft for my Mangkwan!Spider x Kiri, and so far, Jake has developed a migraine the size of Mount Everest because Mangkwan!Spider is a loud-mouthed hellion who is shamelessly courting Kiri without permission, has an extremely colorful vocabulary, a nasty habit of mocking almost everyone around him, and rides a giant mount that keeps nipping at ikrans with its sharp beak. Jake is tired. Neytiri is tired. Everyone is tired except for Kiri, who adores Spider. She's looking at this ash-covered menace with a spiked braid and thinks he hung the moon. I actually feel really bad for Jake and Neytiri for putting them through all this, but the plot is plotting, and I'm having too much fun to stop. Who knew writing in-depth descriptions about poisoned blow darts could be so much fun (sorry, Jake!)
