There is a series featuring Anubis as its motif/main character, where Anubis travels through Japan and the world, encountering yokai and people along the way.

The concept is inspired by Ancient Egypt. However, these are "fake" gods, so I’m not fully following or directly adapting the original Egyptian god mythology.
The story is also set in the modern era and takes place in the same universe as Kingdom of Marionettes.
I'm just making fun of Polnareff and Chariot with the amount of times I drew them like this at this point. /j
