a warning about evan scott huber
i’ll probably be adding stuff to this as it gets uncovered, but i needed to warn y’all about an animator who, while he’s definitely more of a twitter guy, is someone hockey tumblr needs to be on the lookout for too. his name is evan scott huber and he is an animator and pittsburgh penguins fan who made a short animation called ‘teddy blueger saves the day’ and he is a PREDATOR.
full disclosure: evan used to be my friend. we talked hockey a lot. he was obsessed with getting a blue check on twitter, and would name drop steve dangle whenever he could (he did an animation for him once i guess) and was deeply embedded in both pens hockey and leafs hockey, despite not being a leads fan. he seemed nice enough, he was a ‘male feminist’, he knew all the right things to say, all the right people to support, he knew how to make himself look like a nonthreatening guy and an ally. it was all lies.
evan has a fetish for feet, specifically women’s feet in heels. he approached MANY women and nb folks (who he basically still views as women if they’re afab, BTW, something he said in a dm that was published) in their dm’s, some of whom were UNDERAGE, and tricked us into sending pictures or describing what it was like to wear heels while not ever once mentioning that he was getting us to participate in his kink. this is sexual abuse. people on twitter started putting pieces together, and before we could confront him he confessed, making a big long apology where he invited the people he hurt to come to his dm’s so he could gaslight them a little bit more.
for the record- this is not an apology. it’s a manipulation tactic.
i digress- since then, even more things have come to light, like art commissions that never got finished, projects he promised but never started, fundraisers that went nowhere. there’s still more that’s being uncovered, like his irl harassment of a coworker that got him fired from his day job and other things i don’t have permission to post receipts about.
since monday, different projects he’s been involved in have publicly denounced him, including his own web dev
steve dangle’s podcast even dedicated the first twentyish minutes of their most recent podcast to talking about evan’s abuses, and they get a bit more in-depth than i have the energy to type out rn

so why am i bringing this to tumblr if he’s a mostly a twitter guy? easy- he’s a predator and a narcissist, and twitter is onto his game. he wants to integrate himself into a new community so he can get the attention he is so fucking desperate for.
hockey tumblr, please, if you see evan scott huber, block immediately, chase that predator out. you do not want him here.
